To the Zoo!!

What no pictures???!!! Well yesterday I took Ollie to the zoo with Aunt Erin and Allison (her little sister from Big Bros Big Sisters). First we went to see the sea lion show and when I got my camera out to take some pics it would not work so I thought the batteries were dead...I bought new batteries at the gift shop and it still would not work. When we got home Chris took it all apart but could not fix it. Ollie really broke it this time - so we had a great day and there were lots of photo ops but no camera to take any pics - bummer!

Anyway, Ollie loved the zoo this time. He was too little last year but this year was so much fun! He liked watching the sea lions play with the ball on their noses! He also saw great big turtles, a bear, he got to brush some goats, play in the children's zoo play area and run through the water. He saw elephants taking a bath and one of the elephants was in the water up to his eyeballs and would blow bubbles in the water with his trunk - Ollie thought that was pretty funny. He saw some giraffes eating grass and monkeys in the monkey house -but they were pretty tired.

Last night after dinner Ollie, Aunt Erin, Maw Maw and I went to a concert in the park at the City Center. They played 50s, 60s and 70s music. Ollie ran around the whole time he was so hyper! Then we went to Fritz's for ice cream - just what he needed before bedtime! Oh well - it was a fun day - sorry there are no pics!
