Happy 2nd Birthday Ollie!!!

This morning we let Ollie open one present so he would realize that today was his birthday!

He got 5 new hot wheels cars...

Once he got them all out of the package he decided he would put them back in.
Later Ollie's babysitter and her family showed up for Chris to take a look at the air conditioner in their van. They also brought a present for Ollie. He got two hot wheel monster trucks!
He likes to flip with Taylor the oldest daughter.

While Ollie was taking a nap we got all of his presents out and put the Big Wheel together.
Ollie was so excited when he woke up - he immediately went to his presents and wanted to open them. I tried to explain that we needed to wait until everyone got here so they could see what he got.
But Aunt Erin thought it would be ok if he opened her present... She got him a little lime green folding chair.
Then we let him play with his new basketball hoop!

Maw Maw let him unwrap his shovel and rake - only the stems were wrapped but it was still fun to rip the paper off!

Ollie wanted to try out his new Big Wheel - thanks Grandma & Grandpa Toussaint - Ollie will get a lot of use out of this!

Finally time for presents!!!

Ollie got a new Handy Manny shirt from Maw Maw and he immediately started taking off his shirt to put the new one on!

He got a Cardinals shirt and a....
Wall-E shirt! This one stayed on the rest of the day - thank goodness there was a little yellow in his shorts and he somewhat matched!
Ollie got some Elmo books from John & Paula Thurston - thanks guys!
And a Spongebob ball and bat from Aunt Marcie - Thanks Aunt Marcie!

A SpiderMan Scooter from Mommy & Daddy!

And a Bob the Builder Tool Belt - Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Ames!
Ollie wants to help put his scooter together!
Papa & Maw Maw had one more surprise for Ollie - his very own "ride ride"!!!
We could not get him off of this!

He is not the best at steering though so you have to chase him around the yard!



I don't know how we got him off the ride ride but we finally got him to come in for his Elmo cup cakes!!

We had to wait for the Cardinals game to get over and Ollie decided to sneak some icing off his cupcakes!
Time to sing!!!
Ollie did not want to blow out his candles for Mommy and Ma Maw helped him.


Mommy forgot the party hats, which Cloe and Cassie pointed out to me so we put them on after cupcakes - Ollie did not really want to keep his on though.

Pinata time!! Ollie had a great time swinging at Elmo - I think he hit him twice!
Everyone gets a turn - now it is Cassie's turn...
Ollie lost interest in the pinata when he saw his ride ride and he did not hit the pinata anymore.
Now the big kids join in...Kristina's turn!

Cousin Beth tries to even things out by hitting it on her knees!

Tyler really hits it hard!!
But Chris is the one that really knocked it out!


Thanks for the fun roller Aunt Debbie - the kids really liked it! I'm sure Ollie will have lots of fun in this "hamster wheel"!
