Ice Cream Cone??

Look Mommy, ice cream cone!!!

This is actually what he was supposed to be doing except he was supposed to walk straight across with the other kids w/o dropping the ball. Ollie was thought this was so funny that he had to walk over towards me to show me his ice cream cone.

Park time!

After we played in the snow yesterday we met Papa and Great-Papa at Cecil's for lunch and then they came back to our house. Ollie was so excited that they were here he was bouncing all over the place to show off for them.






Later Aunt Erin and I took Ollie to City Centre Park.
Ollie was flying like Batman!!!

Then this little boy gets there and walks up to Ollie and says "is that Handy Manny?" Ollie said uh huh, and then the little boy asks if Ollie will play with him and Ollie says yes. The boy says "I'm 6" Ollie says "I'm 5"! I said he's 2 1/2 and the boy says I'm lots older than you, but they still played together. They were inseparable until the boy had to leave. We never did catch his name.

They ran all over the place together.

If Ollie couldn't find him he would yell "friend, friend??" They had a good time.

It's Snow Time!!!

It's Snow Time!!! That's what Ollie said as soon as he looked out the window this morning. He was so excited. So, after Sunday School I bundled him all up and we went to play in the snow.

As usual, Ollie had lots of work to do!

He had to fill that truck up with snow!

Then dump it all out!

He was going to pick it up with his hands an put it all back in the truck but the snow made his hands cold, imagine that! Then just like that he was done. "I'm cold Mommy, go inside" So in we go.

Ollie The Doggie

Ollie is obsessed with Doggies ever since Scooby Doo and then Dora the Doggie in CA. He crawls around the house and barks and asks for bones! It is hysterical. Don't worry the bones are Scooby Doo graham cracker dog bones. In this video after he gets his bone he talks about Shaggy giving Scooby Doo dog bones.

Monday

On Monday, Ollie had his first soccer class without me. I had to hide behind the bleachers so he thought that I wasn't there. Otherwise he would make really sad faces at me and want to come out. But once I hid from him and peaked around to see if he was still standing there another mom said he just ran right over to the other kids. Yippee!

We still have to work on listening to the coach because he still wants to play and do what he wants too, like put all the cones on his head! I didn't feel too bad though, there were 3 other little ones that cried and ran off the field several times. I think this class will be better than the parent & me class. We will see.

Later Monday afternoon we took a walk/ride down to the park. Ollie must have had lots to drink because he went potty before we left the house and then as soon as we got to the park and he got up to the slide he wet his pants. He doesn't normally have accidents especially when he just went potty. So we had to go all the way back home to change pants and then we got in my car and drove down this time. I wasn't taking any chances the 2nd time!

Batman!!!

This morning, Tyler was playing Legos with Ollie. Ollie wanted Tyler to make him a big gun.

Ollie said I'm Batman, you're the bad guy!
Tyler made two lego guns. Then Ollie came after me upstairs while I was putting laundry away. He said Pow Pow and I fell to the floor and closed my eyes. He got up real close to me and said quietly "I sorry Mommy, I won't pow you anymore" So sweet.

This afternoon we found some Batman pajamas with a cape attached to the back of the shirt. Of course Ollie had to have these. Aunt Erin helped him put on the top before we even left the store. Ollie was so happy, now he has a Batman cape!

Home Again!

On Wednesday we went over to Papa's house and had to run some errands for Erin's wedding. After, tux fittings we had to stop in the arcard to play the motorcycle game.

Thursday and Friday I worked and Ollie went to school. Nothing exciting happened.

This morning we went to Monkey Joe's with Katherine & Andrew.

After Monkey Joe's we went to McDonald's. Katherine met a mean girl, she was worse than Ollie and Katherine put together. Yikes!

Time to go home....

Tuesday morning we went to Stu's shop to visit. Ollie got to ride on the forklift!

They even picked up a big box and moved it around! After Ollie got off that forklift he was wandering around outside then went running back into the shop as fast as he could "Stu, Stu, Stu.. I found another one!!!" He found another forklift. He thought he had really found something great!

Before we left we stopped for lunch. Ollie and I had just come back from the bathroom and he shut the door as hard as he could. He said "I locked it". We got back to the table outside and I guess he felt bad so he said he was going to unlock the door. He got up and opened the door and let it close easy and said "it's not locked anymore" then he started back for the table. He did not see the table across from us and ran right into it with his eye and got a cut right along his eyebrow. He has a giant black eye now. We are going to have to start calling him scar face. This is the 4th time in his 2 1/2 years that he has hit his head around his eye. Poor little guy. We made it through the whole trip and this had to happen right at the very end. Oh well. He took a little nap on the way to the airport but he was excited to fly on the airplane!

We really had a great time! Thanks Mom and Stu for flying us out there! It was a wonderful vacation!

Disneyland!!!

On Monday we went to Disneyland! Ollie also got a new pair of Batman Sunglasses!

Finally Mickey Mouse!! Ollie walks right up to him and says "Mickey I saw Goofy!" He could not understand why Mickey would not talk to him.

But he got a big hug and a kiss!

Then we had to get a Mickey Mouse ice cream!

Time to get off...

Maw Maw and Stu were already waiting in the Tea Cup line so Ollie didn't have to wait so long! Good idea!

Stu took Ollie on the rocket ride! While they were standing in line Ollie took a big chunk of the lady's hair in front on him and pulled so hard. Bad little buddy! Poor Stu was so embarrassed, so was I! I guess Ollie was tired of waiting in line!

Then we all went on the Buzz Lightyear ride. Ollie was so excited to see Buzz!

Then he got to help Buzz pow some bad guys! When we got off they let us out right in a Buzz store and Maw Maw bought Ollie his own Buzz Pow Gun as Ollie calls it.

Ollie was just tall enough to ride the Mad Hatter roller coaster. You have to be 35" and Ollie is 37 1/4"! But there were technical difficulties and they shut down the ride for 15 min. Ollie took a little power nap! But he did ride the roller coaster! There was a scary "snow ghost" as or snow monster that appeared and yelled at us twice on the ride. Ollie was scared of him but liked the ride anyway.

It's dark, time to get out before the fireworks!

Of course we had to stop to pick out a souvenir. Ollie pulled all the stuffed animals out and laid on them and said "I want these toys". Keep dreaming buddy!

On our way home we stopped at a pizza place for dinner. They had a guitar hero game set up so Ollie and Daddy played a couple games! Ollie was shaking his head to the music, it was so cute!

Now it's Kevin's turn to play with Ollie! We didn't get home until after 10:00. It was a long day but we all had so much fun!!!
