Pool Parties!!

Yesterday before we had to leave for our pool party I thought Ollie might need to eat before we went for an hour and a half ride in the car. I made him some chicken fries and then talked to my mom on the phone for a few minutes. When I turned around all the chicken fries were gone and there were none on the floor! I thought he had eaten them all...until I noticed that there were brown things floating in his water bottle!
Yuck buddy!!! He thought it was pretty funny...he was even drinking the water with the chicken in it!

Aunt Barb & Uncle Larry have a "ride ride" at their house too! Can you guess what Ollie was doing at the pool party?
Finally he got off the ride ride and played in the baby pool with Vivy!

Today, Aunt Erin invited us over for a BBQ at her house. We brought our suits but her pool was pretty cold. But, Ollie wanted to get in anyway...only problem is he did not want to wear his swim diaper or trunks. He wanted to be nakey but he wanted to wear goggles! How silly!

Ride my truck!

Tonight Ollie found a big branch that fell out of the tree in our backyard.
He decided that he needed to drive it around the park for awhile!
Then he stopped to pick up some more sticks!

Goodbye Courtney...

My friend Courtney is moving back to Texas next week. She has been here for over 14 years and I met her the first day she moved in down the street from me. I was the first to knock on her door to introduce myself and she slammed the door in my face! But I was persistent and she finally came around, we've been friends ever since.

Last night, I got together with Mandy, T, and Courtney to say goodbye to her. It was a great time. It has been so long since we have all been out together and it will probably be the last for even longer. That is kind of sad to think about. Anyway, goodbye Courtney we will all miss you very much and good luck in everything you do!

Work Day!

Today, my dad and uncle Larry came over to help finish the "Great Wall of St. Peters!" It needs another step put in and the dirt needs to be shoveled down flat so we can plant grass.
Aunt Barb came over too! She wanted to visit with the girls and Ollie!
But...Ollie wanted to help the guys!
He is such a good helper!

Later, Grandma Pati and Great-Papa came over to help "supervise"!

The guys got a lot of work done today and the heavy machinery helped move things along. They finished the last step and got most of the dirt flat. All that needs to be done now is to till up the dirt and plant grass seed! Yippee! A three year project is almost coming to an end!

Welcome Home Papa Toussaint!!!

This morning we went to a big kid's consignment shop sale and then to McDonald's with Maw Maw and Aunt Erin. Ollie decided that he wanted Aunt Erin's salad!
I think he just wanted to "cut" the lettuce. Then we figured out that he just wanted the "white dip" that was on the salad. So we gave him some ranch dressing to dip his nuggets in and he ate them all gone! I learn something new about him everyday!

We had a coupon for a free ice cream! Ollie was in heaven...it was the biggest "baby cone" he has ever seen!
This evening we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Toussaint's house for a BBQ. Ollie has not seen Papa since Christmas time! So it was great to see him! Ollie and Cloe played very well together!

I tried to get a pic of Ollie and Papa when we were leaving but it didn't turn out. We will see them again next weekend and get a pic of Papa and Ollie for the blog!

Chicken Pox????

So this morning when I dropped Ollie off at the sitter she noticed these little red spots on Ollie's neck. After further observation she saw two on his arm and one on his cheek as well. I had seen them too but just thought they were bug bites. She immediately thought he had chicken pox and we had to make him a dr's appt. His dr. got him in at 11:30 today and thank goodness my dad was able to take him so that I did not have to take off work!

Well turns out the dr says they are NOT chicken pox, probably mosquito bites! Great, glad we paid a $30 copay to find out Ollie has mosquito bites! How annoying! But at least he does not have chicken pox! I'm not sure what I would have done if he did because I have never had chicken pox either! Yikes! Thank goodness we dodged that one!

Just to be sure I took all the sheets off of his bed and ours and am cleaning them before we go to bed tonight. Hopefully nothing is biting him in his sleep!
