The rain finally stopped!

By the time Ollie woke up from his nap on Sunday the rain and stopped and it was sunny! We took advantage and went to a park in Cottleville. This is Ollie's new favorite park! We went there once last fall and then Maw Maw & Aunt Erin took him a few times last week. He wanted me to go with him again to see him climb the rock!

Sunday was Palm Sunday and all the Sunday School kids paraded through church with big palm leaves. I just had to get a picture and as soon as Ollie saw me he wanted to sit with me so I had to walk the rest of the way with him and then take him back to his class. They were so cute though!


After church we went out for donuts with Maw Maw and Aunt Erin and then came back to our house to play some games. We played Candyland, Spongebob Bingo and Hi Ho Cherrio!

Baby Shower for Ivy

Yesterday was the baby shower for Aunt Erin and Ivy! We were hoping for a nice day but it was a little too cool and cloudy so we had it in Papa's big shed. It turned out very nice!


When I took this pic all three grandma's were there and only one guest had arrived!


We played a game where I melted chocolate candy bars in diapers and everyone had to guess what type of candy bar it was. Here is Lori checking out a diaper.

Everyone was waiting for each other to pass the diapers around. The first one to get them all right and bring their paper to me won. Katie was the winner!

Afterwards we all went out to eat at Applebee's. Ollie played Batman under the table with Aunt Patti & Maw Maw! He was pretty entertaining!

Magic at El Maguey

Tonight we went to dinner at El Maguey so we could see the magician! We had to wait a long time for our turn. We were finished with our dinner and Ollie was standing in the booth waving and yelling "Magic Man! He can't hear me!" It was finally our turn and Ollie couldn't be happier. The last trick he did was pour sugar into his hand and then show that there was no sugar in his hand. Then he took sugar out of Ollie's ear and put it in Ollie's hand! I wish he could pull some more sugar out of Ollie!

Saturday

Saturday morning Ollie wanted to show me the big tree that he found yesterday with Maw Maw & Aunt Erin by City Centre Park. Ollie showed me how he can climb up, run across and jump off all by himself.

After the park we went to the Mills Mall and met Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin. Ollie played in the play area while Maw Maw watched and I went to the Children's Place to pick out his Easter outfit. Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin went in search of maternity clothes. Then we all met back up for lunch in the food court. Of course, Ollie talked Maw Maw into some candy!

Maw Maw's home! Thursday night Maw Maw picked Ollie up from daycare and then we all went out to dinner at the mexican restaurant. They have a magician on Thursday nights. Ollie was a little shy at first but he soon came around.

Maw Maw turned one red ball into two red balls!

Ollie turned two red balls into six red balls! He was pretty proud of himself!

Happy St Patrick's Day Batman!

It was still light out when we got home yesterday - thank goodness for daylight savings! We got to go outside for a bit while we were waiting on dinner to finish cooking.


Ollie had work to do. There was some very wet sand in his blue bucket that needed to be dumped out so away he goes to the park. Man that bucket is heavy!

It took some kicking and hitting but he finally did it! All by himself!

Roller Skating

Tuesday evening Ollie wanted to roller skate. So we dug his skates out of the shed tried them on. He did so much better this time. We went down the bike trail and then to the court at the bottom of our street. He did pretty good on flat ground but going up hill is kind of hard.

Last Sunday

Poor bunny has a broken leg after being thrown around the living room Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. He will probably have to be tossed out after Easter. Bummer! He wasn't annoying at all!

Sunday afternoon we went to Papa's house so Daddy could help Papa with some electrical work for his new basement bathroom. Ollie was hanging out in the croc watching spongebob.

After we dropped Tyler off we stopped by to see Grandma Toussaint. We missed Papa Toussaint by a few hours :( Ollie had a great time playing with Max & Bailey (dogs). Max would growl and Ollie and Ollie would tell his Grandma. At least Max does not have teeth - he can't do much harm. Bailey on the other hand would snip at Ollie but he still chased Bailey around and tried to catch him. Bailey may be small but he is fast!
