This weekend!!!

Saturday morning Ollie and I went to Walgreens to get an old picture restored, then to Wal-Mart and he got to pick out a new movie because he was so good. Then we went to the ATM and then to get gas. While we were getting gas we decided to get a car wash. There were 3 cars in line bue Ollie wanted to wait anyway. Here were are in the car wash - Ollie loves it!

Late in the afternoon we met Becky, Kathryn & Andrew at City Centre park and Tyler came with us!

Tyler was helpful. He helped Ollie go across the monkey bars.

Ollie & Andrew were playing and fighting together most of the time. At least everyone was having fun!

Then it was off to Aunt Teresa's & Uncle Lester's for the February birthdays. We got there later than normal so after about 45 min everyone else took off. We stayed until 10:00 and Ollie was very comfortable by that time. He was playing Spiderman with Uncle Lester and kept shooting webs at him.

Time to go but Ollie is having too much fun playing, he wasn't ready to go!

Today, Papa & Grandma Pati came over and we all went out to eat at Steak N Shake. We watched part of the Winter Olympics hockey game and then Papa took Tyler home. Now Ollie is just hanging out with Aunt Erin in his playroom watching Batman & Robin and playing with his toys. Pretty good weekend all in all!

So strong!

Last night Ollie got out my weights. The orange ones are 5 lbs a piece and the yellow one (3 lbs), I bought for him a while ago while I was taking stroller workout classes because he always wanted to do what we did. He was showing off how strong he is. Ten lbs above your head when you only weigh about 40 lbs is a lot! He did konk his head once but it wasn't that hard.

Tonight we went to McDonald's to eat and play. Ollie ate almost a whole happy meal! He only left about 5 fries and 1/3 of his cheesburger!

So Big!

Daddy made spaghetti on Sunday for dinner. Ollie didn't want to eat with us. He said he was not hungry. So, after he got out of his bath he decided that he was hungry and ready to eat. Perfect timing right? He pretty much needed another bath when he was done. This is a gross story but see how he is slurping his spaghetti noodle? Well imagine Bella on the other end like in Lady and the Tramp! That's right, Ollie & Bella were sharing dinner! I wish I could have got a picture of that!

Tonight after dinner Ollie wanted to get measured. He is 3' and almost 5" tall! That is 1 1/2" taller than 4 months ago. He is getting so big!

Duck Hunting

While daddy was out with Duke this morning, Ollie and I just relaxed at home. Ollie set up his duck so he could shoot it or "pow it" as he used to say!

Happy 40th Birthday Aunt Teresa!!!

Last night Chris and I went to a surprise party for Teresa's 40th birthday. Debbie & Marcie did a great job planning it!

She was completely surprised. She thought she was going to dinner with Lester.
Chris and Brad had to work together to get a sugar container open for their mom. This was the second time they tried together and finally got it!

Man, that's a lot of candles! Happy Birthday Teresa!!!

Saturday

Yesterday the sun actually came out for a little while and it was about 48 degrees. We went to McDonald's and got some lunch and were going to play outside but the door to their outside play area was locked. Ollie had a mini melt-down and then I finally got through to him and we packed up our lunch and went to City Centre Park to eat and play. We didn't stay very long because the wind started to pick up and it got cold again.

After Ollie's nap he wanted to go to Fritz's, it just re-opened last Monday. Again, we didn't stay very long and ended up bringing our icecream home but it was still fun!

Sledding & Swimming

This morning we woke up and there was lots of snow! We ate some breakfast and got all dressed up and went outside to make a snowman. But, the snow was too dry so we went to the back shed to get out the sleds. Daddy had it locked so we had to find the keys and then go back out again. Then we headed behind the park to a big hill!

Ollie carried his own sled to the hill!

He went down about 3 times and then said he was cold and wanted to go home. We were only outside about 15-20 minutes but we had a good time.

Look at those red, rosy cheeks. He was cold! We came in and played in front of the fire, had some lunch and took a nap. When he woke up it was just about time that the pool would open at the Rec-Plex. So this time we put on our swimsuits and snow boots and went swimming! I wish I would have taken my camera because Ollie had a big smile on his face the whole time. We had a great day!

Valentine's Day

As soon as Ollie came downstairs yesterday he found his Valentine. He said "that is mine!"
He got a spiderman treasure chest or "chesser chest" as he calls it. Really it is just a metal box with spiderman on it. But inside there was a sticker book, a heart lollipop, a chocolate marshmellow heart and some other little toys and on the bottom was a new Scooby Doo movie with a Valentine special on it!

Ollie or Batman or is it Superman? Anyway, he is watching Scooby while playing. This is the life!

For dinner, Papa, Grandma Pati, Aunt Erin, Uncle Kevin and US all went out to dinner. The snow had started about an hour before so the roads were getting bad. We just went up to Cecil's. Ollie ate his dinner and Papa gave him a big box of Nerds for his Valentine! That is the biggest box I have ever seen! Then everyone headed their separate ways. Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin were off to a movie, Papa & Grandma Pati went back to their hotel by the airport so they could leave for Aruba early this morning and we just came back home. I wish I was going to Aruba! I don't know about anyone else but I am ready for Spring!

Playtime!

Today we needed to get out of the house so I called Becky to see what they were up to this afternoon. Nothing! So, we packed up Ollie, Kathryn & Andrew and headed out to Wentzville to Playtime. It is a lot like Chuck E Cheese but a little more calm. Here's Kathryn and Ollie playing in the climber.

Ollie liked the Sponge Bob game. He got lots of tickets.

Becky and Kathryn try out ski ball.

We all had a good time and Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin came to eat lunch too! It did the trick. Ollie took a good nap this afternoon!

Friday

Today Ollie went to school in the morning for his Valentine's party. While he was at school I was able to run some errands and Papa & Grandma Pati came to visit. We went out for lunch and then picked Ollie up. We went to play at the mall and then came back to our house for a bit.

Here is a video of Ollie playing with his Batman & Scooby toys in his playroom. He didn't know I was there and he just kept talking and talking. It was pretty cute!

Cookies!

Last night Ollie and Daddy made chocolate chip cookies. Ollie helped every step of the way so therefore, he made them all by himself! Nothing like eating chocolate chip cookies while watching The Biggest Loser!

Mail from California!

Holy Cow! Ollie was so excited when we got home. There were two boxes on the front porch! One for Mommy & one for OLLIE! Mommy got her blog printed into books by year. Next year I will print out all of 2010! Yippee, they are so cool! Now back to Ollie....

Ollie got a Valentine from Maw Maw & Papa Stu! It was a bit tough to open. So many ribbons tied together!
A little blue heart with M&M's!

A Batman plate, cup & bowl and a red truck t-shirt! How fun! We will have to use the cup and bowl for dinner tonight. It's a cold night and it's snowing perfect soup night!

Superbowl Sunday

Superbowl Sunday was pretty uneventful. We spent most of the day at home. Ollie even talked Tyler into playing in his playroom for awhile!

After dinner when Daddy went to take Tyler home we went over to Aunt Erin's to watch the commercials and half time show. Lori, Maggie & Samantha were there too.

The kiddos had a great time playing together. They like to wrestle!

Believe it or not, this picture was not staged! But look how cute it turned out. Ollie just chillin while the girls think they have him pinned!

Here's the momma for all of you who want belly pics!

Happy Birthday Grandma Pati!

This afternoon we went over to Papa & Grandma Pati's for her birthday. As soon as we got there Papa took Ollie for a ride on the Mule. Shortly after they got back Cari & Megan got there. Ollie and Megan played very well together all evening. Ollie shared his Batman toys with her. I think he is glad to have someone to play with!

Both, Ollie & Megan wanted Papa to play Batman with him. Such a good Papa, he got right down on the floor with them. Hopefully he can get himself back up!

Then they moved on to Legos. They were making castles and guns.

Ollie tried out poker with Nikki & Billy. He just likes to throw chips in the pile and get a card.

Time to color. Ollie & Megan each colored pics for each other.

They got to eat at the bar. Papa stood up and ate with them. Everyone else got to sit at the table.

Pati got a swim cover up for their upcoming trip to Aruba, sunblock, a raft, Barnes and Noble gift card and a book mark with a charm on the end. Pretty good loot!
