2nd Soccer Class

Well this week was not much better than last week. Ollie has been saying all week that he is going to listen to the coach but when we got out there all he would do was lay on the ground or roll around on the ball on his tummy! He also kept running off of the field to the bleachers. Finally I said that we could just go home if he did not want to play. Well he DID want to play soccer! So he asked Aunt Erin to go out with him.

He did better the second half of class. He liked knocking over the cones, which is what he was supposed to do!

But then he was back to his old tricks and laying on the ground.

Or crouching by the wall. I'm so confused. He loves to go to soccer class at least he talks about it all week but then we get there and it is the last place he wants to be but he does not want to go home - talk about frusterating!

After class we went to Dick's Sporting Goods and bought him a little soccer ball like the one's they have in class and we will start practicing at home. Maybe that will help while he is in class. We'll see!

Papa's House

Yesterday we went to Papa's house for a visit. They are packing things up to get ready to move. Ollie figured out that there was nothing in these cupboards and that it was a pretty fun place to play!

Apparently this chair is broken. Nice plumber's butt Ollie - you'll make a good handy man one day!

Today I took Ollie to school so I could go to the grocery store. Then I made Mom's chicken noodle soup for lunch. Ollie really liked it!

February Birthdays!

After Playhouse Disney we went over to Teresa and Lester's for the February birthdays. I'm sure their pets just love it when we come over! Every time Ollie would touch this kitten it would lift his head up and try to bite Ollie but that sure did not deter Ollie!

Playhouse Disney Live!!!

Finally! Today was the day. Ollie has been talking about seeing "Mickey Mouse and Manny and TiggerPooh and Einsteins" for over a month now. He just had to have a Manny light and Manny popcorn that came with a cool hat!

At intermission Ollie had to get a "cold one" as he called it last time. This time he called it Einstein's icecream. It is a Rocket cup with a sno cone in it!

Everyone was there for the music party at the end. Donald Duck, Tigger, Pooh, Goofy, Manny, Tools, Minnie, Mickey, Little Einsteins and Darby!

Play Doh

Tonight, Daddy had to work late so Mommy got out the play doh after dinner.

We made Lions, doggies, airplanes, swimming pools & motorcycles. No, we are not that creative but Ollie said that's what we made and that's all that matters, right?

Soccer!!!

Tonight was Ollie's first soccer lesson. It is a parent and me class. He is anxiously awaiting his turn!

He likes soccer but he does not like to listen and do what the coach says. There are three classes going on at once and all three coaches know him by name already - yikes!

Time for a drink break!

When it was time to leave he was sad which surprised me because I didn't think he liked it. Although he was running all over the place why wouldn't that be fun? He kept saying "listen to coach, listen to coach" meaning I will listen to the coach just let me go back out there. I had to explain that his turn was over but we would go back next week and he could show me how well he can listen to the coach. We'll see...

Play Room!

We have been using the nursery as a storage area for all of our baby stuff. On Thursday I took some of the stuff over to my mom's house to put in her basement. Don't worry Stu - I asked her first! Then I moved Ollie's toy box out of the living room and his kitchen out of our kitchen all up to the new "play room". It is not very oranized but he seems to like it.

Let's see how long it will last. I'm trying to "take back" my living room and kitchen!

Monkey Joe's

Today is Lincoln's birthday so our office was closed! So we went to Monkey Joe's with Gennie, Jay & Baby Chris. Ollie is Mr. Cool in his sunglasses!

What a good climber!

Ollie really likes Monkey Joe's but I can tell he is starting to get used to it. After awhile he just wants to play with the toys in the baby area.

Since Chris is crawling now he actually got to play with them in the 3 and under area!

Stop for a bite of pizza then run off again!

Sunday

On Sunday afternoon we went to Papa's house for lunch. Charlotte brought Amelia over for a little while too. Ollie played with the legos by himself for a good half hour by himself and then he played with Amelia too.

He was very gentle with her, I was impressed. He wanted to rub her chin, not sure why.

Then we had to try out Grandma Pati's new Wii. She got it for her birthday! It is pretty fun! Here we are bowling.

There is a game where you can pow ducks, you know Ollie liked that one!

Outside All Day!

We're in luck...it was still nice when Ollie got up from his nap. Just a little windy. Not really cold but Ollie kept his hood up the whole time. He rode around on his truck.

But not too much joyriding, now it's time to get to work!

Off to the park to do some digging in the sand. Ollie played there for awhile until Daddy came home.

Daddy got out his lawn mower and away they both went riding up and down the trail in our back yard!

Then we headed across the street to Katherine's house. We haven't seen them in awhile since it has been too cold outside. Ollie and Katherine are fighting over this stroller.

Becky brought out a second stroller - good thinking!
