Duck Blind

This morning Ollie and I went to check out the duck blind that Daddy & his friends have been building. It is a lot bigger than the last one they had. They have a little kitchen area with a stove. Pretty fancy! Ollie and Jacob (one of the other guys' boy) found some stick guns and were hunting for zombies & skeletons!

Ollie came home and said he had a good day - he didn't get in trouble at all!

Mail & Fishing

Ollie got a box from Maw Maw & Papa Stu with his own pair of scissors, paper, tape & stapler! He loves this kind of stuff. He could staple & tape paper all day long.

Last weekend we took Ollie to New Town to go fishing.  He probably caught at least 20 fish!  Pretty much any time he would put the pole in the water he would catch a fish within a minute or so.  Daddy would take the fish off the hook and then Ollie would throw the fish back into the water!

Papa's 60th Birthday Weekend!!!

We had a big weekend this past weekend. Papa turned 60 today! So we planned a big party. Uncle Mark, Aunt Beth, Uncle Earl, Trisha, Casey, Amanda & Casen came in town from TX to celebrate too! We all went out to dinner on Thursday night.  Then Friday we went to the Mills for some school shoe shopping and then to Papa's to swim.

Friday night Ollie helped Daddy make lots of carrot cake!  He has to stand on the counter in order to feed the carrots into the grinder.

We had a really fun group of people...it was a perfect day!

Today was dad's actual birthday and they came over and we went out to eat at Cecil's!  Big surprise!  Happy Birthday Dad/Papa!  We love you!

Pool Party at Erin's

 We had a small pool party at Erin's house to celebrate Stu's 60th birthday (which is actually in March).  It was a small but fun group!
