Aquarium, Beach & Home

Sunday we went to the Aquarium at Moody Gardens on Galveston Island. It was very cool.

Ollie & Papa checking out some starfish.

Ivy is checking out the seal. The seal seemed to like Ivy. It kept swimming right up to her face!

Ollie watching the seal. You can see it's fin if you look hard.

Ollie & Aunt Erin collected stamps for his aquarium passport book.

The scuba guy showing Ollie a stingray!

Ollie gets to touch a starfish and sea urchins!

Trisha & Amanda

There is a real life shark swimming right over Ollie's head! Look out buddy!

Ollie & Aunt Erin check out the shark cage.

Checking out the penguins.

Ivy meet Mandy. Daddy's showing off their girls!
Time for the beach! We went to Stewart Beach on Galveston Island. The water was warm but it was windy and cool out of the water. So as long as you stayed in you were fine. This is Ivy's first time at the beach. I think she liked it!
Ollie loves the beach and loves running into the waves!

Daddy got his clothes all wet! The waves came up higher than he expected a few times!

We stopped at McDonald's for a potty and got some drinks. Ollie got a vanilla shake!

What a day! Someone is so tired! He took a late nap and was up past midnight. We took him to Trisha & Casey's house with us that night. We had a great time. It was nice to hang out with them casually and not have to worry about running from here to there.

Monday morning we hung out a Mark & Beth's. Colleen & Steve brought their grandson, Nicholas. He is two and has bright red hair just like his mommy. There were 5 kids there all at one time. It is so fun to see everyone's littles.

Casen & Ollie finally another boy cousin!
Ollie & Papa fishing at Doug's pond.
Ollie caught 4 fish Monday morning! He was very excited. He wanted to throw them back himself but the first three kept landing on the ground. He finally got the fourth one back in the water himself! Poor fish!

Monday afternoon we all went out to lunch. We got to ride with Teresa so her & I had some time to catch up. It was so good to see everyone. Then it was time to head home. Here we are waiting at the airport for our plane. Ollie's DVD ran out of batteries halfway through the flight and he did not want to play his DS (of course) so it was an interesting flight. We had to make 2 trips to the airplane potty and color with markers. He did alright. We all had a great time but it is also good to be home.
