Happy Halloween!!!

We stayed around the house today to rest up for the big night! Ollie dressed up in his own version of a Batman costume.

After dinner we started getting ready for trick-or-treating! We spray painted his hair and then put on lots of face paint!

Daddy worked on the water-squirting flower but it was not cooperating and just dripped water all over the Joker costume so we did not leave the flower hooked up to the squirter.

Ivy trick-or-treated too!

There was an ambulance down at the park that the kids had to check out. Ollie wasn't interested in staying at the kid station at the park so after the ambulance we hit some more houses on our way home. He was really into trick-or-treating this year. He was running from house to house.

By the time we got home Ollie really looked like the Joker. His make-up was smeared all over his face. To my surprise everything washed off of him very easily in the shower. There is no sign of green hair or black eyes.

Soccer Trophy!

Today was Ollie's last soccer game and he played! He had a great time. I took the video camera with me and got the whole time he played. At the end of the game they all got soccer trophies! Ollie was so excited to get a trophy!

After we got home we changed clothes and picked up daddy and went to America's Incredible Pizza to celebrate the end of the soccer season. Ollie got to play lots of games!

He also rode a go-cart with Daddy!

We had some ice cream before we went home.

Then Aunt Erin & Ivy came over in the evening. Ollie & Aunt Erin put together a gingerbread Halloween House!

It didn't last long, Ollie was ready to eat the house cookie! Aunt Erin took a bite too!

Jack-O-Lanterns!

Earlier this week Ivy came over after work so Aunt Erin could get more work done. Ivy loves the bouncer! She's such a big girl in there!

Today Ollie had a Halloween Party at school and got to wear his Joker costume! He was so excited all day. When we got home we had some dinner and then we carved pumpkins! Ollie wanted to carve the little pumpkin. Fine with me! Less goop to clean out! Ollie used his Halloween flashlight to look inside the pumpkins.

Time to scoop the goop!


Ivy does not know what to think!

Ollie wanted his jack-o-lantern to look how they are "supposed to look". Good thing because Mommy is not a very good pumpkin carver!

Ghouls in the Garden

Sunday afternoon we went to Ghouls in the Garden at the Botannical Gardens. Ollie said he wanted to wear his Batman costume because it is not Halloween yet. When we got to the garden he said he didn't want to wear his Joker costume because he didn't want to scare Ivy. What a sweet boy!

There were lots of different stations to stop at and get candy. Ollie says we went trick-or-treating. This is the mad scientist station.

Ivy gnawed on this piece of licorice for quite awhile. She never broke through the plastic though.

Ollie was looking for fossils and then started cleaning the floor. Why doesn't he sweep the floor at home?

There are lots of things to climb on in the children's garden.
