Wedding Cookies!

Yesterday we spent most of the afternoon making snowflake sugar cookies for Mom's wedding.

Stu helped keep Ollie busy and out of our way. They are playing dinosaurs!

We had an icing problem but just decided to go with melted almond bark. Good thinking!

They definitely could have turned out better. Oh well.

Erin and Paula were good at decorating. Mom just did alot of drizzling and I used a knife and smeared. Mine are terrible - I never said I was good at decorating cookies!
When we finished, Ollie took a nap and Stu hung out with him while Mom, Erin and I went out looking for shoes and got pedicures.

Later Erin and I took Ollie to watch Kevin play in the FZS alumni hockey game. Ollie was sitting on Erin's lap in the bleachers and there was a man in front of them with a bald head. I'm not sure what got into Ollie but before we could do anything he whacked that guy right on top of the head. How embarrassing! I felt so bad but what can you do when it is all over with? We did not stay long after that - I figured it was time to go home.

Toussaint Christmas!

We had the Toussaint Family Christmas this weekend. Pretty much everyone came over on Friday evening and we had a big slumber party!
Steve, Pat, Brad & Rose came over early Saturday morning. We had a huge breakfast on Saturday.

Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, and waffles and more! Yummy!
Some of us stay out of the kitchen and let the ones who know what they are doing take over!

Ollie is still showing off his new guns that Santa brought to Papa's house!

Ollie likes to play with Uncle Brad, although he probably would not admit it. Uncle Brad likes to pester!

Ollie and Cloe trying out Ollie's new chair.

Good thing we have a big kitchen now! There were about 20 people in the house and most in the kitchen at one time!

More presents for Ollie! He is not spoiled at all! He got a new chainsaw and it makes noise - perfect!

Cousin Kristina.

Debbie had us play "beg, borrow, steal" which is alot like the trade game we play at Aunt Barb's. This was really fun. The Toussaint's steal alot!

Bye Bye Tire! About a year or so ago, Chris came home from a Nascar race with a giant nascar tire. What are we going to do with that??? Well it sat in our basement looking very hoosier, that's what. So Debbie and Mike's are decorating their basement race car style and the tire will make a perfect coffee table. I'm sure it will look really great once they clean it up and get a piece of glass for it! I'm glad the tire found a good home. Poor Teresa had to drive to Debbie's with a giant tire strapped to the top of her mini-van, it was pretty funny to see them strapping this tire to her van.

When everyone left we took down all of our Christmas stuff! Our house is back to normal. Now we have to get in to wedding mode!

Christmas!

Ollie had lots of presents from Santa and he was very excited about all of them!
He got two dinosaurs.

A Handy Manny repair truck and lots of new tools!

Then we were off to Maw Maw's house by 9:00.
Santa went there too!

Ollie got a new chair, just his size!

And fireman tools to go with his firehose that he got from Papa's house!

Later, we went to Aunt Barb's. Everyone got their pics taken together. Erin & Kevin.

Mom & Stu.

Bill & Patti.

Us.

Barb, Kyle & Larry

Present time! Aunt Patti got all the kiddos seventies wigs and glasses!

They were all hippied out!

One of the "trade" presents was a jar of pickled turkey gizzards. Grose! Of course there was a bet on who would eat them and who wouldn't!

Bel thought it looked like fun but just could not bring herself to eat one.

Ollie was so tired from yesterday, he slept in his clothes last night. This morning he had to watch Toy Story for the 3rd time in two days. He cuddled up in his new chair and ate some grapes.

Ollie wanted to wear his new Handy Manny jacket today. Here he is showing it off along with his new tools!

Christmas Eve!

Tyler stayed with us for the first part of the week so we gave him his presents while he was here.

He got a new pellet gun and a Hollister hoodie. He also got a new Xbox 360 game and some stocking presents!

Here is a pic of our house all lit up for Christmas. We even have our milk jugs out since it is Christmas Eve. Every year our street lines the road with lit up milk jugs to light Santa's way! It really is pretty when they are all lit up.

After work today we went to my dad's for Christmas. Ollie got a Diego doll from Aunt Erin!

Grandma Pati got some new bake wear.

Uncle Jack got a new 20 questions game and lots of new clothes!

Dad got a cool pen and an under the counter radio.

Ollie got a firehose gun that shoots out three blue balls!

And a shot gun that makes shooting noises!

And the biggest nerf gun I have ever seen that shoots 20 nerf darts out very fast...thanks dad!

We got home close to 11:00. Here are the presents that Santa left under the tree for Ollie. He is going to be so surprised in the morning!

Ollie says...HO HO HO, Merry Christmas!
