Demolition Derby!

This morning we started off by taking something back to Kohl's. Ollie stood in the corner of the dressing room. He thought this corner was silly. Then he wanted to spend one of his three dollars that he got for his birthday already. We went to the dollar store and he picked out some silly toy. Not worth a dollar but Ollie thinks it is and that is all that matters.

This evening we went to the Lincoln County Fair to see the demolition derby. It was so hot and the seats were all in the direct sun. Then the derby did not start on time (1 1/2 hours late actually) so Ollie and I went to ride some rides while Daddy saved our spot on the bleachers.

Then we came back when the sun started to go down and watched one part of the derby from start to finish. Ollie thought it was very loud. One car lost the whole wheel and Ollie looked a bit worried for that car. The cars were spitting up mud into the crowd and Chris said "It's Lincoln County they love it!"

While we were getting ready to leave the fair we saw a guy juggling while standing on a board with a cylinder under it. We stopped to watch. Ollie liked this guy he said we can stay here a little while.

So here he is enjoying the juggling show while chugging down a sno-cone. When we finally got back to our car the battery was dead so Daddy had to go find someone with jumper cables. Thank goodness he found someone quickly. Ollie was worried that someone had hit our car like the derby cars and that was why it wouldn't work but we explained the battery was just dead. He's such a little worry wort - I wonder where he gets that from?
