Friday was my friend Becky's 40th birthday so we all hung out on the driveway and the kids played on their bikes and lit a couple of spoke bombs and had a great time. Then we woke up this morning and went to the St. Charles 4th of July parade with Aunt Erin and Ivy. Aren't they cute! Getting ready to watch the parade in their 4th of July outfits!
Ronald McDonald was in the parade - I think Ollie was star struck! How cool! Say Cheeseburger!
Then we spent the rest of the morning through lunch time at the mall looking for shirts and eating lunch. We came home to rest for a bit and then went down to Kenchel's to swim and have a little BBQ with Lori, Samantha & Maggie. They have a little McDonald's kitchen and Ollie had a great time playing with it!
After the BBQ, we (Ollie, Daddy & Mommy) went down to the St Charles Riverfront to the carnival. Ollie rode lots of rides and then we hightailed it back to watch the fireworks. We just got back a little bit ago after 10:00. We got cleaned up and now we are relaxing and getting ready for bed. What a fun day! More 4th of July fun to come tomorrow!
