Later Sunday evening we went to the Rascals Game (minor league baseball). We bought the cheap seats and they were out in the sun with no overhang but we found a food tent with a table and you could still see the game. It was a great time. There was a bounce house and face painting, sno cones & cotton candy. What more could you ask for?
The face painter didn't want to put anything on Ollie's face because he was sweating so much, but....
Ollie had other things in mind. She finally let him pick out a tattoo to put on his cheek and...
then he talked her into painting a frog around his mouth! He's not spoiled at all - just always gets his way. She should have never said that she wouldn't paint anything on his face!
All of a sudden the winds picked up and a storm was coming. They brought the tarp out. It took them awhile to get the tarp totally out because of all the wind. It was pretty amusing! They got it all the way out just as the down pour came. They all had to stay out there and sit on the tarp until they got vehicles to hold it in place. Talk about dedicated people!
Ollie had a good time playing in the puddles.
After the rain it was beautiful outside and the game started again around 7:15. We found some very good seats between third base and home and were able to see very well. The Rascals were down 0-5 before the rain and then came back and won the game 8-5! This was the first Rascals game we have been to and it was a lot of fun!
