2nd Thanksgiving and Snow!

Friday we put up our Christmas Tree or "Ho Ho Tree" as Ollie calls it. He liked helping decorate it!

Aunt Erin and I loved laying under the Christmas Tree and looking up at all the lights when we were little so we showed Ollie and he loved it. He even brought his Elmo and blanket down later and layed them down under the tree!

Here is pic of our tree. Aunt Patti, please put a pic of your tree on your blog so we can all see it!

Saturday we went to my dad's for our 2nd Thanksgiving. Ollie had a great time playing with Mason and Megan!

He even got to shoot Papa's new pellet gun in the garage. He said he was "powing ducks"! We are raising a little hoosier!

Snow!! This morning when we woke up Ollie could see out my bedroom window and he pointed and said "It's HO HO time!"
So after Sunday School we got all dressed up in snow clothes and went out to play!

Maw Maw helped Ollie build a snowman! His snowman likes to rake and shovel just like Ollie!
We are off to our 3rd Thanksgiving today! Busy Busy Busy!!!

Happy Birthday & Happy Thanksgiving!

Wednesday night we went out to the Olive Garden for my birthday. Ollie helped me blow out the candles!
Yesterday we went to my Aunt Patti's for Thanksgiving. Ollie had a great time playing with Mic & Sadie. He ran around the yard yelling "fast as I can, fast as I can"!

Ollie's hanging out with the guys.

Walking on his hands like a monkey!

Finally it was Ollie's turn to play the X-Box! He just loves to get his hands on those controllers! He thinks he is really playing!
Today we spent the day at home getting out our Christmas Tree and other decorations. We also took Ollie's Christmas pics. They turned out pretty good!

Fire & Dinner

It is cold enough now that we can turn on our fireplace. Ollie likes to look at the fire. He is real good about not touching the screen thank goodness!
Ollie likes to help Daddy make dinner. Tonight we had hamburger helper. When we were finished eating Ollie decided to "cook" the left overs. Don't worry the stove was not on and the pot was not hot anymore. Ollie stirred and stirred and then he would say that he needed to taste it and take a bite. I guess that is one way to get him to eat dinner!

America's Incredible Pizza Co. & Great Skate

Yesterday we had a very busy day. We went to America's Incredible Pizza Co. for lunch. It is a new pizza play place. It is huge and Ollie and Tyler had a great time. There is a huge arcade, mini golf and go-carts. There are three or four different rooms you can eat in.
Ollie had a great time in the kiddie area and also in the arcade! He got to smack sharks on the head! That was right up his alley.

Then they went into the store to spend their tickets that they earned from playing the games. Ollie wanted the colorful, foam, dice.

Later, we went to Great Skate for my friend, Lisa (Kenchel) King's 30th birthday party! Ollie got to try out roller skates for the first time. They are a bit easier than the in-line skates he has but not much.

Lisa was very surprised! I can't believe we are getting so old!

Papa T is home!

Grandpa and Grandma Toussaint came over yesterday to bring Tyler and they took us out to dinner at Long Horn. Ollie was very happy to see Papa Toussaint!
Ollie played in the corner behing our table and under our table until our food came and then he sat in his chair and ate his dinner. He did pretty well.

Here is a good pic of Tyler and Papa Toussaint. Tyler is getting so big! I can't believe he is going to be 14 in January!

This morning Ollie wanted this huge halloween sucker that I got from someone at work about a month ago. He has been eyeing this sucker ever since I brought it home. I have been putting it off as long as I could but finally gave in this morning, I'm sure I will be regretting bringing it home any minute now!

Pow Ducks

Ollie has been telling me that he wants Santa or "Ho Ho" to bring him a gun for christmas so he can "pow ducks". He is only two and he is already asking for a gun, yikes! He is going to be a hunter like his Daddy and Papa. I guess I'm going to look for some kind of nerf gun for him to "pow ducks"!

Weekend in Illinois!

This weekend we went to IL everyday. Friday night we went to see Maw Maw Toussaint, then on Saturday morning we went to Papa's house!

Ollie had a good time playing legos with Maw Maw Pati.

He shared a bag of popcorn or "cup corn" as Ollie calls it, with Great-Papa.

On Sunday we went to Aunt Marcie's for chili. Ollie was "walking" his cousin Beth. She was a good sport.

Welcome Home Maw Maw Toussaint!

Tonight we went over to Maw Maw Toussaint's house! She just got home from Arizona a few days ago. Ollie and Daddy were playing with some candy cane decorations in her kitchen and as you can probably guess Ollie broke his candy cane into hundreds of pieces! He really is a Toussaint!

Saturday

This morning I decided to clean our ottoman. It was getting pretty dirty. Well Ollie thought this was fun so he kind of took over. Fine with me! Anytime you want to clean our furniture just let me know buddy!
Later this morning we went to Kohl's and Wal-Mart with Maw Maw & Aunt Erin. There is a Tigger ride at Wal-Mart and if Ollie stays in the cart the whole time he gets to ride Tigger! This is the first time he has actually gotten to ride it! What a good time! Good job Buddy!

After lunch I agreed to watch Maggie and Samantha. They came over around 1:00. Of course Ollie would not take a nap while there were kids to play with, so, Chris and I took them all to Monkey Joe's! They all had a blast! See some pics of Samantha coming down a huge slide! She was the only one I could get a decent pic of. The only bad part was the Monkey that walks around only went to the birthday party rooms today so Ollie and Maggie were sad that they did not get to see the Monkey, believe me it was not for lack of trying! Hopefully since there was no nap and we went to Monkey Joe's we will have an early night!

Who is Ollie voting for?

Well, this morning Chris had to leave the house really early, so, I had to take Ollie voting with me. We got in line around 5:35am. The polls opened at 6:00. There was already a huge line but at least we got to wait with Aunt Erin!. Ollie laid in his stroller for about 25 min then he wanted to sit up. When he sat up he was looking around like what the heck are we doing? So I tried to explain that we were voting for the President. I asked him who he was going to vote for and he promptly responded "Ho Ho" which to him means Santa Claus!

We finished up voting around 6:35 and were starting to leave and Ollie started to cry. He said he wanted a present! Poor buddy must have thought I said present when I said President and that is why he wanted to vote for Ho Ho. Ollie thought he was going to see Santa and get a present instead he just got a stupid sticker. Sorry buddy! I took him to McDonald's for breakfast in an attempt to make it up to him!

Leaves!

Ollie thinks we have too many leaves on our driveway so he went to the garage and got the rake out and started cleaning off our driveway.

Retirement Party!

Yesterday we had a retirement party for Papa! It was such a beautiful day so we were able to stay outside for the most part. We had a open house and it worked real well. Some people came early and stayed for awhile and then left while others were arriving.
Ollie takes after his Daddy, Papa & Aunt Erin. He is learning to tap the keg early. We are going to be in trouble when he is older!

Here are some party pics. I did not take as many as I should have. There were so many people after the sun went down. All in all it was a great party and everyone had a good time!

Thanks to everyone who came and helped make a memorable night for my Dad!
