Maw Maw & Papa Stu are home!

Tyler was over this weekend and Ollie got him to play Hi Ho Cherrio with him!

Saturday night Ollie was worn out. He must have rolled right off his batman couch. He was out for the night.

Maw Maw & Papa Stu picked Ollie up at school on Tuesday. He could not wait. He has been counting down the days until Maw Maw "comes down". He thinks that CA is up in the sky because he has flown there.

Wagon ride to the park

Monday evening we went on a wagon ride to the park with Ivy and Aunt Erin. Ivy did very well with her big cousin sitting behind her so she wouldn't hit her head on the sides. We didn't get to stay very long because it gets dark so early now.

This has been a good week so far. Daddy is on vacation and home every night! He goes hunting and does things around the house and then we get to spend the evenings together.

Daddy built a duck boat!

Daddy has been working very hard building a duck boat. He built it from scratch and here it is! It floats too! We took it out this afternoon for a float test.

Bella is worried about Ollie being on the boat at too far away from her.

She actually started walking towards them when they were bringing the boat back in and the water got deep. She kept swimming for a few seconds and then turned around. I bet she was thinking "what the heck am I doing it's cold in here; Ollie's on his own!" At least now we know she can swim.

This week...

Monday we went to Laurel Park after school and met Kathryn & Andrew there. We played until dark and then headed home. Tuesday Aunt Erin & Ivy came over for dinner. Here's Ollie & Ivy chilling out watching some Scooby Doo.

Wednesday Ollie went to Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin's while Mommy went to dinner with a friend. Ollie said they made something for my birthday! He may have told me what it was but I won't tell!

Thursday I was off work and got about 1/2 of my Christmas shopping done while Ollie was in school. Everything I bought I wrapped! Then I picked Ollie up early and we went to Papa's house to hang out.

Friday we hung out at home after school. Daddy got home just a bit after we did and he is off all next week so he will be home every night!

Quiet Weekend

We stayed around the house this weekend. Chris went hunting both mornings but was home by late morning. Ollie wanted to watch him "clean" a duck that he got. Ollie came inside to tell me "we did not use water yet, Daddy had to get the chicken out of the duck first!" Then he asked how chicken got inside a duck. Where does he come up with this stuff?

Later we had a mini-milestone in the Toussaint house. Ollie is officially too big for the carseat straps when he has his winter coat on so while Daddy was home for the weekend he took the straps out. Now we just use the regular car seatbelt with his car seat. What a big boy!

Aunt Erin & Ivy came over while Uncle Kevin was reffing and we had a little thanksgiving dinner. We had a small turkey in the crockpot, mashed potatos, stuffing, crescent rolls & apple pie. Man we should eat like that everyday! Ivy has made another accomplishment too. Now she can sit up all by herself!

Sunday afternoon we watched Ivy for a little bit. She slept most of the time she was here but when she woke up it was nice outside so we went out to clean the back patio. Ivy hung out in the bouncer and checked everything out.
