So Big!

Ollie will be exactly 2 1/2 on Tuesday the 20th and he has been wanting to see how big he is so I figured now would be a good time. He has been eating so much lately that I am sure he is getting ready to go through another growth spurt soon.
Ollie is 3ft 1in! He said "I taller than the monkey!" Last time we documented he was 2 yrs old and he was 2ft 11in. 4in in 6mos!

The Mom Song

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6P2w5GkXmU

This link is hilarious. My little guy is only 2 1/2 but I feel like this somehow and find myself telling him some of these things already. I'm sure before too long I will have said it all! Yikes!

No Pictures

So what have we been up to the last week? We have been busy and not busy all at the same time. Last Wednesday evening I picked Ollie up from school while Chris went hunting and took him out to McDonald's. Then we went to the Mall to walk with Becky and Katherine. The kids had a great time playing in the play area. We didn't leave until after 7:30.

Friday night I met my friend Courtney at Side Pockets. She came in town from Texas. Mandy and T showed up around 7:30 the time I was supposed to go home. Suffice it to say I did not get home until after 10. Not late I know but late for me now. Anyways it was so much fun. I haven't laughed like that in a while!

Saturday morning we had swim class but someone threw up in the pool so we had to get out of the leisure pool and get in the big pool Well that pool was very cold and Ollie and Jay did not like the water being so cold so we cut out early. Later we went to Erin's house to play hide and seek. Erin was watching Maggie and Samantha. We had pizza and then came back home. Hide and seek was a lot of fun!

Sunday, Maw maw was home! Ollie slept in until 9:30 so we missed church. I went out for eggs for french toast and ran over something in the garage and popped a hole in my tire. Chris had to take the car to firestone for 4 new tires - it's always something! We needed new tires anyway. Oh well. Then Chris went hunting and after Ollie's nap I took him over to Maw Maw's so I could go to Wal-mart and Shop N Save. While I was leaving Shop N Save I was trying to hold onto the cart so it would not roll away and get the sodas from the bottom of the cart when a young man came over and grabbed my sodas and put them in my car then started putting all my groceries in the car. He was one of their cart boys. How nice! When I got home I called them and spoke to the manager to tell them how impressed I was!

Today Ollie went to school and I went to work, normal day. Tomorrow Chris' boss will be in town until Thursday afternoon so Ollie and I are on our own for pretty much the rest of this week.

On a side note, I borrowed Erin's "Twilight" book on Saturday and have not been able to put it down. It is fabulous. I am half way through it already. It is a wonderful love story. I wasn't sure I would like it - it's about vampires and all but it is really good! I'm going to have to ready the 3 books that follow it as well!

Games & Goose

On Saturday I took Ollie to America's Incredible Pizza. Erin took her little sister Allison. We all had a great time. We were there for 3 hours!

Ollie even got to play mini golf for the first time.

Yee Haw Cowboy!

Chris and Tyler went hunting while we were there. Ollie was sad when they left so I had to come up with something fun for him to do as well.

Here is Ollie powing some ducks! We line his stuffed duck and dinosaurs on the fireplace and then he tries to hit them.

Daddy got a goose! Two to be exact! The second one is as tall as Ollie - that's a big goose!

Ollie wanted to touch it and of course I had to wash his hands right away - gross!

Here is the first goose.

More mini-golf. Not sure why the pics are all out of whack today- oh well.

A New Year's Wedding!

Sorry I've haven't been on in a few days. It has been pretty busy around here lately! On Tuesday night we had a rehearsal dinner at Lewis & Clark's.

This is the first time we met Stu's daughter, Shannon, her husband, Chuck and their baby, Zach.

The Grandkids!

Wednesday night was New Years Eve. Mom and Stu watched Zach while Shannon and Chuck went out at the Casino for New Years. Zach is so cute! He is such a calm little guy. Ollie did really well with him. At first he did not want to share his baby toys with him but he came around pretty quick and then he was sharing ALL of his toys with Zach.

New Years Day was the BIG day! Curt came over to do Mom's hair. He did a great job!

Here we are finally all dressed and ready to go!

Mom wore the cape that Aunt Patti made for Jill's wedding. She looked beautiful! Like a "winter princess" in the words of Aunt Patti.

Ollie only wore his boutineer (sp?) for a little while, we did manage to get a pic of him with it on. "get this off!"

Sisters.

More sisters!

Winter Princess!

Ollie, the ring bearer...

He only made it half way down the aisle happy then he got nervous and upset and ran straight to me. He wasn't making any noise so it took a second for me to realize that he was crying. Poor little guy. This pic breaks my heart.

The wedding and reception were so beautiful. The wedding was at the Conservatory in St. Charles and the reception was at Braddens right down the street.
Congratulations Mom & Stu...may you live happily ever after!
