Dinner & Maw Maw's

Monday night we had dinner at Maw Maw's. After dinner Aunt Erin helped Ollie with some homework. He had to make a jacket out of construction paper. Ollie got to cut out the jacket. He is a very good cutter.

Maw Maw is shoveling food into Ivy. If you don't go fast enough she get upset. She sure likes to eat!

Ollie & Ivy listen to the Batman story.

Toussaint Thanksgiving!

Sunday was our Toussaint Family Thanksgiving at Aunt Teresa & Uncle Lesters! Ollie & Cloe played well together and it was nice enough to play outside for a little bit.

Ollie & Cloe "fighting".

After dinner Ollie was exhausted. In the words of Uncle Lester, "it takes alot out of you to fight everyone in the house!"

Game time!

When we left we stopped by the house Uncle Brad is going to flip. It is an all brick house in Godfrey. It definitely needs some fixing up but it will be beautiful when he is done! Ollie had a good time checking out all the nooks & crannies with the flashlight.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Today was a great day. My mom & I went to Wal-mart to take some things back and get a little Christmas shopping done. Then Chris worked on the Christmas lights. He kept changing his mind so he did not get very far. At this point he probably won't be completely done until next weekend. We had a birthday dinner at Olive Garden. It was very nice. We got one of those 3/4 rooms. Ollie was able to get out of his seat and not bother any other parties. Here are some pics from dinner. Chris and I are still getting used to the new camera. Hopefully we'll figure it out soon!

Ivy & Ollie helped me open presents. I hope this dress fits for Ivy's baptism!

Ivy likes the paper and Ollie cannot wait to get to cake!

This morning when we woke up Ollie said "I'm not telling what present I got for you." Then a few seconds later he very excitedly said "it's a rock! With little colorful rocks! Like at Aunt Erin's house. By her steps!" He just couldn't control himself until he got it all out! That's okay I still love it. When we got home from Olive Garden Ollie and I went outside to find the perfect place for it - right by the front door!

Friday

Ollie was very excited Friday morning because he was ready to put up the Christmas tree! We were up at 7am and Ollie was karate-chopping the tape to get it off the box.

Ollie was a big helper. This is the first year he has been able to help with the lights. I had to pass them to him around the tree. After we got our tree up we went to Maw Maw's to put up her tree.

Once we got the tree up Aunt Erin wanted to work on Ivy's baptism dress. She gets little anxiety attacks while she is sewing. It is pretty funny! But it turns out she is very good and the dress is going to be so cute!

Ollie was begging all day to make gingerbread cookies so we left Maw Maw's and bought some pre-made dough and made gingerbread men. Then Ollie found his first stocking present!

He got some new christmas jammies!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Check out Ivy in her Thanksgiving dress! Maw Maw started it but could not finish because she broke her arm so Ivy's mommy finished it! She did a great job. Who knew Erin would take after mom? Here's Ivy with Great Uncle Jack.

Ivy's playing with the big kids!

While at Dad's house we celebrated my birthday and I got a new camera! It can take fast pictures. I'm sure it will take me awhile to figure out how to work it!

It snowed on Thanksgiving! Ollie was so excited. He thinks it is Christmas! I had to explain that we will put up the tree the next day but it would still be awhile before Christmas.

Ollie & Megan throwing snowballs at each other.

After Papa's we went to Aunt Patti's for our second Thanksgiving! Everyone awwwed over Ivy. She is just so dang cute! Ivy & Aunt Barb.

Ollie played with the ice all day. I hope we picked it all up. Sorry if there are some wet spots Patti & Bill!

Uncle Larry trying to get a response from Ivy by speaking "donald duck". She is hard to impress!

Ivy got to eat mashed potatos, pumpkin pie and pudding!

We played a crazy pictionary game that was very stressful. Aunt Patti was begging for it to be over and yet she was the best player!
