Game time!!!!

This morning Ollie was playing with Bella and scratched her belly. He found out that she liked that alot!

1:00 was game time! Ollie did so well. He went right out there and played with his team. Ollie is the one in the hood.

So far the other two teams that they have played against have been very good. I'm not sure they are 4 year olds! Just kidding but our team has some practicing to do. Oh well at least they are having fun!

Good game!

Hotdog Pancakes!!!

This morning when we asked Ollie what he wanted for breakfast he said pancakes with hotdogs in it! And he was serious! So daddy cooked up some hotdog pancakes and Ollie & Daddy actually liked them. He cut up some of the hotdogs and dipped them in the batter and made one big hotdog pancake.

We spent the rest of the day working in the yard. I was such a beautiful day outside. We planted some grass on the side of the house, cut the grass, cleaned up the back yard...

and put out our Halloween decorations!

Check it out Mom, I planted these all by myself! I am such a big girl!
The jack-o-lantern in the flowers is one that Ollie painted all by himself at Maw Maw's house!

Soccer & Park time!

Last Saturday was Ollie's first soccer game. When we got there he got nervous because the games are at a different place than where practice is so he did not know what to expect. Ollie did not play but we stayed and watched his team and I explained what was happening and at later on I told him that his friends looked hot and tired and could use his help. He got up and said he would tell Coach Shane he would play a few minutes but just then the game was over. He said he would play tomorrow. However, Sunday's game was canceled because of the rain. We'll see what happens this weekend.

Here are some pics from practice Thursday night.

We went to DQ after practice.

We walked to the park twice this week with Kathryn & Becky and tonight Ollie and I rode our bikes to the park and made it home just before dark. Now we are just waiting for Daddy to finally get home from out-of-town!

Apple Picking

Friday after work we headed out to Eckert's in Millstadt for Family Fun Night. If you mentioned Momslikeme.com you got in for free! Ivy was checking everything out from her stroller.

There were lots of things for kids. Sandboxes, rides, slides, climbers, corn maze, etc.
Here's Ollie in the corn maze. He found a piece of corn and hand to bring it home.

Ollie is giving the thumbs up while he waits to go down the biggest underground slide!

Check out this huge hill you have to walk back up!

Here's a view from the bottom. The slide goes under the grass - Ollie thought that was pretty cool and ran up the hill about 5 or 6 times before we moved on.

Ollie loves feeding the animals!

Camels! How cool!

Ivy's first wagon ride.

Ollie is excited to pick apples off the trees!

Ivy wanted to pick apples too!

You gotta taste the apples to make sure they are good right?

Time for the swings and then time to head home.

Soccer Practice

Thursday night Ollie had soccer practice and he did very well. All the boys did well until after 30 min. There are 6 boys on the team and at one point Ollie was playing in the grass, another boy was focused on something in the sky (there was nothing up there but the clouds) and three of the boys were wrestling in the grass. The coach had totally lost them and he ended practice after 45 min. There first game is this afternoon. We will see how it goes.

This Weekend...

Saturday morning was pretty dreary. Ollie's first soccer game was cancelled so we just hung around the house for most of the day. By 2:00 it was very nice outside so Ollie and I went on a bike ride to City Center Park. Ollie played longer than I planned and was exhausted on the way home but we made it thank goodness!

Sunday we did some work around the house. Ollie & Daddy fixed the floorboard as you go down the stairs. Ollie got his tools out too. His hammer really knocked the nails into the wood.

Then Daddy did some yard work and started trimming the bush in the back yard. He got one side done and it looks like if we painted the bottom orange it would look like Wilson in the movie Castaway. We thought about putting a face on it but decided against it.

Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin went to the Rams game Sunday afternoon so we watched Ivy for them. We all took a trip to Papa's house to hang out and have dinner. I just don't think she could be any cuter!

Ollie is sharing his Power Rangers with Ivy.

Ivy thinks they are tasty!

Back at home Ollie shares his Batman toy with Ivy.

Such a happy baby!
