Check out our attempt at a snow man on our snow day at home in February! It started snowing on Thursday morning. I worked all day Thursday but they never plowed our street until Friday around 11:45am. We couldn't get up the street. Also, Oliver was in between daycares that week so I stayed home and we played in the snow!
Here are some pics from the Den meeting at our house in February. Oliver was so excited to have so many friends over at his house at one time!
They made a food pyramid.
Last Saturday we went to the Cottleville St. Patrick's Day Parade. Papa came with us too! We ate at the very packed McDonald's and then found some pretty good seats. When the parade started the kids went up to the street. After awhile everyone was moving further and further into the street until they were standing on the yellow line in the middle of the street. The floats were so close. They threw out more beads than candy. After an hour Oliver was ready to go. It was so cold so we packed up and got out of there before the crowds. Pretty successful parade.
Tonight was a Cub Scout Pack Meeting at Hawthorn. The boys each got a ticket if they sold popcorn. The boy who sold the most popcorn in each Den got 2 tickets. Then they got to take turns throwing pies in some of the leaders faces with their tickets. Since Oliver started Cub Scouts late he did not sell popcorn so he did not get a ticket, but his buddy Gavin sold the most popcorn in the den and gave Ollie his extra ticket. What a sweetheart! Look how happy those boys are watching pies getting thrown in their leaders faces!
Oliver also earned his Bobcat badge.
Oliver smooshed his pie in the Pack Leaders face!
Gavin got his dad all over his head!
