4th of July Weekend!!!

Friday evening Ollie & Maw Maw caught some lightning bugs! Ollie was so excited. He put the jar next to his bed to watch them light up while he went to sleep!

Saturday we wento Aunt Barb & Uncle Larry's for a pool party!

Bill, Barb & Vivy eating boiled peanuts.

Sunday evening we went to a BBQ at Papa's house. It rained most of the evening so the party was moved inside.

Maw Maw & Ollie playing power rangers.

Ivy wanted Papa's bottle!

By 9:00 it was just sprinkling off and on so we decided to start the fireworks. Daddy is helping Ollie with his first roman candle.

Ivy and Grammy watching the fireworks.

Daddy lighting 200 bottle rockets with a blow torch...good idea?

The guys watching the bottle rocket can catch on fire.

Now Ollie can do roman candles by himself!

Ivy & Maw Maw with a sparkler!

Daddy & Papa Stu getting ready for the fireworks show. Uncle Kevin is down there somewhere too.

Ollie loves the fireworks!

Monday morning (the actual 4th) we went to the St. Charles Parade. It was raining again but the kiddos still had a good time and got a lot of candy!

After the parade we had lunch at Maw Maw's.

Maw Maw showed Ollie the makings of "Gotham City"! It still needs to be painted.

We went home for a nap and then to Aunt Erin's for a BBQ & some pool time!

Time to watch some fireworks!

Samantha, Maggie & Ollie like the smoke bombs!

Finally time to go to the fireworks in St Charles!

Ollie is changing everything with his Harry Potter wand!

Tuesday we hung out at home. Papa came over and so did Maw Maw & Papa Stu. Ollie was Batman and playing transformers and army men. Can you keep it all straight?

Whew!! What a weekend! We had such a great time! Happy 4th of July everyone!
