Busy Saturday

Today Maw Maw and Stu stopped by for a quick visit before they had to go to a baby shower. Maw Maw had to get her Ollie fix.

Every time Ollie sees Maw Maw's purse he says "Let's see!!" She always has some kind of fruit snack for him in there!
We decided to take a walk down to the park. Ollie had to push his lawn mower and did not want to ride in the wagon. I thought for sure his little legs would get tired so we took the wagon just in case, wouldn't you know he never rode in the wagon!

Of course he has to climb while he is at the park!
After the park, we went to the open house at the St. Peters fire house and Ollie saw 2 big red trucks! He got to climb in both of them and "drive drive". After about 15 minutes the firemen were all running around slamming the doors and said they had to go there was a fire! I had to snatch Ollie out of the drivers seat before they drove off with him. At least he got to see their lights and hear the sirens!


After all that we had lunch and then took a nap!

After Ollie's nap we went to Aunt Erin's house to go swimming. It was a little cold at first but after a minute or so it was pretty fun! Later we went home and played across the street with Ollie's friend Katherine.

Phew!! I am exhausted just thinking of all we did today!

I wanna take a shower!

Thursday, May 29th - Tonight Ollie was very adamant that he did NOT want to take a bath, he wanted to take a shower in mommy's shower. I tried to explain that Mommy had already taken a shower but he wanted to take a shower all by himself! Mr. Independent.

Monday, May 19th - I was at work for an hour this morning when Ollie's day care called and said he fell outside and busted his eye. He would probably need stitches. I promptly got on the phone with the Dr's office and while I was on hold the day care called back and said to come get him right away and take him to urgent care - of course I hung up and ran out the door. Thankfully he didn't look as bad as I was picturing in my head. The Dr was able to see him right away and his eye had to be glued back together, poor buddy! I had to lay on his legs and hold his arms down while the Dr. had to hold his head still and try to glue with the other hand. All I can say is thank goodness we didn't have to get stitches!!

Helicopters, tanks and boats - Oh My!!!

Saturday, May 17th - Ollie, Mommy, & Aunt Erin went to the City Hall for the veterans parade. They had a black hawk helicopter, tanks and a coast guard boat - Ollie's favorite was the boat we had to go back twice to get in again!
