Fall Party

Yesterday afternoon was Oliver's Fall Party at school. I took the afternoon off to help out with the party. I was in charge of the pumpkin art station. I took pics of all the kids with their finished pumpkins for the room mom. They were all very excited to show off their pumpkins!

Then there was a bobbing for apples station.  But it was paper apples.  You have to move them by sucking on a straw from one bowl to the other.  No hands!

There were 5 stations in all but I could not see all of them.  After they went to tall 5 stations it was time for a snack and movie!  Smores!!!

Rock N Roll Half Marathon

This morning Erin and I ran the Rock N Roll Half Marathon! We left my house at 5 am. The race started at 7am. We were able to find a place to park, use the potty & and then find our corral with 40 min to spare. Then about 20 min before we decided to go use the potty again. We made it back to the corral right at 7!
We had a beautiful view of the Arch when we were getting ready to start.

Almost there!

This was a fun race!  There were lots of bands and we were feeling good.  We finished in about 2 hours & 27 mins.  About 20 mins longer than our last one but this time we had a team of 3 and only 4 legs!  Baby Thurston did a good job and may end up being a runner too!!

Pumpkin Patch

Yesterday we took the kids to the pumpkin patch. We got there early so it was not too crowded. We didn't have to wait in line to ride the ponies or the train!

Awe a baby kitten!

Always the climber!
They always love the corn boxes!!!

Ollie has a corn belly!

And corn socks?!?

Ollie loves using the corn machines to shuck the corn!

The horse is named "Lady"

Ivy's pony is named "Sugar".

Surfing down the slide?

Ollie held onto Ivy the whole time they were on the train.  He was not going to let her fall out!

It was the perfect morning for the pumpkin patch!

September 2012

We went to the Celebrate St. Peters Picnic in mid September. Ollie & Ivy each got wristbands and could ride any rides they wanted all night long! We stayed all evening and even got to watch the fireworks!

Vickie & her daughter were there painting faces for their girl scout troop.  Ollie wanted a spider on his whole face!

Ollie & Logan (from across the street) have become pretty good friends.  Here they are playing Star Wars on the Kinect.

Ollie lost his first tooth (not counting the one pulled by the dentist last Winter)!

We had a Toussaint BBQ last weekend.  All the kiddos dressed up as Super Heros!  Liam & Ivy were both Batman!!!

The Batmans are checking out the treehouse!
