Uncle Bill's Retirement Party!!!

We went straight from work to MawMaw & Papa Toussaint's to drop Ollie off and then to Fast Eddie's for Uncle Bill's retirement party. He is finally doing it! Good thing I brought a little cash because they do not take cards. Erin had no cash. I bought her first drink. Good thing we found an ATM named Dad!

Laurie and Erin enjoy their Blue Moon.

Barb and Scott caught up. Scott told Barb all about his Hawaii vacation!

Uncle Bill and Ed AKA "Sharkman"

Whoa! Let's get the party started! Yes that is a bra on his head!

Congratulations Uncle Bill!!!

Mail from CA!!!

Everyday Ollie runs to get the mail when we get home. On Wednesday there was a box in the mail! It was for Ollie!!! He said "it has MY name on it - that means it's for ME!"

Man it had lots of goodies in it. A batman mask and cape, candy, orange hair spray, etc!

What a lucky little guy!

Thanks for the box Maw Maw & Papa Stu. It made Ollie's day!

Toussaint BBQ

Last Sunday we had a Toussaint BBQ at our house. Ollie was very excited for everyone to come to his house! Ollie and Cloe played at the park while we waited for the others to arrive. They were a mess when they came back!

Check out the monkeys in the tree.

Debbie & Marcie hugging it out.

It was a beautiful day for a BBQ and very nice to see everyone. Although Ollie was a little upset that Uncle Lester didn't make it to his house. He was really looking forward to "fighting" with him!

Busy Week

Ivy got her first pair of tennis shoes! Now she can start walking any time!

Tuesday evening we met Papa & Grandma Pati at El Maguey for dinner. Then I went to a high school friend's Pampered Chef party. It was nice to catch up.

Wednesday was a beautiful day. When we got home some kids were riding their big wheels on the street and Ollie wanted to go play with Jay. They had big wheel races and Ollie won every time! Now I know how my dad felt when we rode our big wheels down the street - it's nerve racking! I only let Olllie go half way down then he had to turn around.

Thursday was St. Patrick's Day - Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin went out for a few hours so we got to watch Ivy! It was another nice day so we hung out in the backyard and cleaned up the patio while the kids played.
Saturday - I spent the morning cleaning the house. We went to McDonald's for lunch. Ollie & Ivy got to play in the play area.

Then we had another soccer game. Ollie played in the beginning.

Then Aunt Erin & Ivy showed up to cheer for Ollie.

Ollie played a few minutes while they were there but then he just walked off the field and wouldn't go back out.
He hid under my chair. Crazy boy. Aunt Erin & Ivy decided to go home and as soon as they did Ollie got up and walked back over to sit with his team.
He is so crazy! I will never understand what goes on in his head!

Sunday with friends!

Eric came over with his twins, Nic & Maya today. They are 3 1/2. The kids played well together all afternoon.

They went outside for a little while but it was a bit cold so it didn't last long. Ollie gave Maya a ride on his truck!

They all had lunch together and then it was time to play again! I am glad they all had a great time with each other.

1st Soccer Game

Saturday was Ollie's first soccer game this season. Ollie has been wanting a mohawk for awhile so before the game we went out for some colored hair gel. They didn't have orange so we went for green instead! It is St. Patrick's Day weekend after all.

Monkey Joe's

It's Batman & Batgirl! Poor Ivy, she gonna like Batman whether she wants to or not!

Daddy was out-of-town fishing this weekend so it was just Ollie & Mommy. Friday night we watched Ivy for a few hours and she crawled up our stairs for the first time. She went up the stairs about 10 times and went straight for the playroom each time! We started Saturday out by going to Skating lessons at Great Skate. Then we met up with Ivy & Aunt Erin and headed to Monkey Joe's in South County. I can't believe they closed the O'Fallon location! Ivy had a great time crawling around and playing on the baby bouncers.

Back off my toy Bub!
Ollie had a major meltdown when it was time to leave, which is always embarrassing. I was able to calm him down in the car and we went to Fuddruckers for lunch. We ordered Ollie a "crabby patty" or a cheeseburger. He liked that he got to put his own stuff on his burger. Although the only thing he put on it was ketchup! Both kiddos fell asleep on the way home and took a well-deserved nap. They played hard. We took a trip to Wal-Mart when they woke up and then Ollie and I spent the rest of the evening at home relaxing!

Bella was tired too! She goes up to her and lays with her head in the hallway waiting for me to come to bed.
