Happy Easter!

This morning as soon as Ollie woke up he found a Easter basket by his head and immediately started eating candy! Then after we got dressed Maw Maw and Aunt Erin came over and Ollie noticed that the Easter bunny hid eggs in the front yard!

Ollie is a good egg finder!

There was all kinds of candy in the eggs! Spongebob crabby patties, sweetart gummy bunnies, reese's peanut butter egges, nerds, sweet tarts, etc!

Then we went to Grandma Ames' and the boys played baseball.

Ollie looked so cute in his little sweater vest!

There was a whole table that you could color on! Ollie wrote his name all by himself (a little help with the "e").

Time for resurrection eggs! Ollie did pretty well and listened for the most part.

Almost time to start - ready, set....

GO!!!! Ollie found lots of eggs!

Time for everyone to count all their eggs...

Grandma Ames and her bullhorn!

Just hanging around while the others are looking for clues to find the baskets!

Time for potato sack guard your eggs! There is a video of this below - pretty funny!

Now time to fish and whatever number fish you get that is the bag you get! Ollie's bag had a stuffed teddy bear in it!

Ollie and Cloe with their bears!

The baskets were found but they could not be handed out until the pinata was busted!

Jacob was the pinata buster!

Time for the Easter baskets!!!

Eggstravaganza!

First thing this morning Aunt Erin came over with a Batman Easter bucket! Complete with batman easter grass and batman head shaped eggs with candy! How cool!

Ollie and Bella had lots of fun with the bubble wand or sword as Ollie calls it. Bella loves to eat the bubbles. This is hours of fun for a dog and a three year old!

They played with bubbles while we were dying eggs. You have to let the eggs sit in the dye for a few minutes so it worked out well.

Papa came over with another Easter basket. Ollie said "what!" everytime he pulled something out of it. There was skittles, a transformer and a power ranger toy all in a new sand bucket!

Then we headed to New Town for the Eggstravaganza! Ollie was the first to get a picture with the Easter Bunny!

They also had flower pots and paint for the kids to decorate. How fun!

Ollie had a great time mixing all the colors together. Oops!

Don't drop that egg buddy!

Finally it is time for the egg hunt. We had to wait awhile before it was time to get the eggs.

Ollie was ready....but then it was time and all the kids ran out screaming except for Ollie. He backed up and refused to go out without me. By the time we got out there all the eggs were picked up. Some of the other mom's felt bad for Ollie and gave him a few eggs. I guess it was too overwhelming for him. That was not the response I was expecting out of him. Oh well, he will find his eggs from the easter bunny in the morning and I'm sure he will find lots of eggs at Grandma Ames' tomorrow!
When we got home it was 4:00 and those two little girls (the one's he played with all day a few weeks ago) were at the park. He has been playing with them since. All I wanted to do was take a nap but I was glad they were here because it is too late in the day for Ollie to take a nap!

Thursday evening

Thursday evening, after dinner, Ollie went to play in the backyard. He rode his truck over to the park and Jay & Chris came up to the park with their Aunt Martha. After a little while they all ended up in our backyard to play with Bella.

They were all waving sticks and yelling "Bella, sit, lay down, go get it" and then they would throw their sticks different ways. Poor Bella didn't know what stick to get! She would try lay down in the grass and relax and they would yell at her again - what a good sport - she would get up and play again!

All three boys thought the doghouse was very fun! This is the only good use of the doghouse. Bella refuses to get in it. It was so cute they would get in and just giggle!

Tickle, tickle, tickle! They were tickling little Chris! They played together so well!

Wednesday Evening

Wednesday Maw Maw picked up Ollie and took him to her house. There was a new Batcave waiting for Ollie when he got there! Look closely this used to be a red fisher price barn that she painted silver and purple and put Batman stickers on - Ollie has no idea, he just loves it. Of course it was supposed to stay at her house but ended up coming to our house.

Then we got some dinner from McDonald's and went to Laurel Park for a picnic.

We took some crackers to the pond and tried to feed two ducks some crackers but they were not interested but about 5 turtles showed up to eat the crackers. Ollie said "a mommy, daddy, cousin & brother!"

Ollie likes to spin in the baby swings. He spins really fast!

The rain finally stopped!

By the time Ollie woke up from his nap on Sunday the rain and stopped and it was sunny! We took advantage and went to a park in Cottleville. This is Ollie's new favorite park! We went there once last fall and then Maw Maw & Aunt Erin took him a few times last week. He wanted me to go with him again to see him climb the rock!

What a little monkey!

There are so many things to climb on at this park!

Look at this skinny little slide!

Uh Oh, here comes batman!

Batman put Catwoman in the big spiderweb!

Catwoman got away and Batman is going to catch her again and put her back in the web!

Driving the batmobile - there are even sound effects!

Does Ollie look like he is ready to go home, NOOOOO!
