We stayed around the house this weekend. Chris went hunting both mornings but was home by late morning. Ollie wanted to watch him "clean" a duck that he got. Ollie came inside to tell me "we did not use water yet, Daddy had to get the chicken out of the duck first!" Then he asked how chicken got inside a duck. Where does he come up with this stuff?
Later we had a mini-milestone in the Toussaint house. Ollie is officially too big for the carseat straps when he has his winter coat on so while Daddy was home for the weekend he took the straps out. Now we just use the regular car seatbelt with his car seat. What a big boy!
Aunt Erin & Ivy came over while Uncle Kevin was reffing and we had a little thanksgiving dinner. We had a small turkey in the crockpot, mashed potatos, stuffing, crescent rolls & apple pie. Man we should eat like that everyday! Ivy has made another accomplishment too. Now she can sit up all by herself!
Sunday afternoon we watched Ivy for a little bit. She slept most of the time she was here but when she woke up it was nice outside so we went out to clean the back patio. Ivy hung out in the bouncer and checked everything out.
