Oscar & Fright Fest

We had Oscar and Ivy for a weekend and Oscar liked eating his prunes off his bib more than he liked eating them off the spoon :)

 

Oliver and I got season passes for 6 Flags for next year but we were able to use them for Fright Fest this year too.  We had a great time but only stayed for 2 1/2 hours because once it got dark and the monsters came out Oliver wanted nothing to do with 6 Flags any  more!

MO Cowbell Half Marathon

On Sunday, Oct 6th I ran the MO Cowbell Half Marathon in St. Charles in 2 hrs and 9 min!!! I was so happy to be under 2 1/2 hours! This was my first half marathon by myself!

Warrior Dash!

This morning Erin & I ran the Warrior Dash! Here is before the race while we are still shiny & clean!

We had to scale walls, jump/climb over hurdles, go through 4 mud pits (with help from fellow runners), army crawl under barbed wire, monkey bars (by far the hardest), jump over fire and crawl through a mud pit with barbed wire over head and I'm sure I am missing some things.  But we made it!  We are warriors!  Except when it comes to snakes.  On our way back to the car we saw a huge dead snake and started screaming and hopping and running away.  Some guys in the parking lot yelled "I thought you were warriors!"

Celebrate St. Peters Picnic

This first pic is at Fritz'. Oliver had a chocolate cone and it got EVERYWHERE!

Last weekend we went to the Celebrate St. Peters Picnic at Lakeside 370.  We bought armbands and were able to ride as many rides as we wanted from 11-4 and we took full advantage of the time.  Ivy loved the Frog Hopper!  She must have rode it at least 15-20 times!  Oliver rode it with her several times too. 

Back to the Frog Hopper!

Later that night we went back to the park to watch the fireworks.
