Week in review...

Saturday morning we got up early to take Aunt Erin, Uncle Kevin & Ivy to the airport for a trip to see Kevin's family in MN. Ollie's soccer game was cancelled from all the rain so we headed over to Papa's house for the day. When we got there we found out that there was an egg hunt at Belk Park. It was so cold and windy! We stood in line to see the Easter Bunny. Ollie said "that is not the realy Easter Bunny because that bunny is wearing shoes!" Ollie and I figured the real Easter Bunny was too busy and he asked a helper to come to the egg hunt.

It was so cold that Ollie had to warm up under Papa's jacket while we waited for the hunt to begin.





Ollie was not afraid to run out there and pick up the eggs this year!

Sunday was Palm Sunday and Ollie paraded through the church with his palm and I didn't have to walk him back to his class. He went back on his own! He is getting so big!

Sunday was beautiful. Ollie spent the whole day playing outside with some neighbor kids. We got new neighbors across the street and one of the boys is Ollie's age!!! They chased each other around playing Batman & Superman wearing blue & red capes. Ollie shared his capes with Logan. Then in the evening we had a soccer game. Ollie did pretty good. At least he played when the coach wanted him too.

Maw Maw came home from CA late Tuesday night and Ollie stayed with her on Wednesday. He always wants to stay at Maw Maw's the first night she is home. Today Ollie had another dentist appointment so we got home early. We decorated eggs this evening. Ollie's eggs turned out beautiful!

Ivy wanted to help too!

Sunday

Ivy stayed with us Saturday night until around 9 Sunday morning. She was so good. It was nice outside so we went out to play. Ivy had a good time walking with her toy!

Daddy & Ollie mowed the grass.

And Ollie took his truck for a spin! Ollie had a soccer game Sunday afternoon. We used the orange hairspray to make it more fun!

He did well and played the whole time that Coach Shane asked him to!

Thursday Ollie had another dentist appointment to fill 2 cavities. They gave him laughing gas. He had to keep it over his nose the whole time. He did very well! One time he told the dentist he needed a break so he let him close his mouth. Then Ollie just opened back up and the dentist asked if break time was over. Yep! The dentist told him he did better than most adults! We have to go back in 2 weeks so hopefully it was go just as smooth.

New Bike!!!

Ollie got a new bike this week!!! Ollie's old bike was too small and it did not go fast enough. It was time for a new bike. We went to Wal-Mart Tuesday evening after work and he got to pick out which bike he wanted. He picked out a bright green hot wheels bike. The right handle turns and makes a VROOM noise! He was riding this bike all through the store there is no way we could leave without it! He also picked out a helmet to match his new bike!

Warm Weekend!

This weekend was beautiful! Both days it was nice to be outside. Sunday it was even a bit too warm! Saturday morning Ollie and I took Bella for a walk to the park and we had no incidents! That may be a first! Then Ollie had a soccer game. He was in a good mood and he actually played in the game the whole time! Good job buddy!

After the game we picked up Aunt Erin and Ivy and headed over to Papa's house. Ivy is having a deer stick with Papa. She gnaws on them and gets the meat out of the middle - Ivy teeth would be very helpful!

Ollie got Tyler to play Lego Batman with him on the Wii. He was happy to have someone to help him get past the first level - that's what big brothers are for!

Papa got a new tractor!

Sunday Aunt Erin and Ivy came over so we could go on a bike ride. While we were waiting for Chris to put Ivy's seat on Erin's bike we were hanging out inside. Ivy was going up the stairs and fell down for the first time. Check out that bump on her head (to the right). Poor baby! She went straight back for the stairs as soon as we put her down again.

Time to go bike riding!!!

The bike ride was interesting. It got very hot outside - around 90. Ollie was hot and tired and did not want to ride his bike. He threw a temper tantrum all the way home from City Centre Park all while riding his bike. It was ridiculous! We finally made it home and he relaxed on his bed for awhile. Once he cooled off and relaxed he was back to his sweet self.
