Christmas Eve!

When we woke up this morning it was snowing!!! We are going to have a white Christmas! Bella & Ollie were very excited about the snow. They had to check it out right away!

Ollie and I got all dressed up to go to the park to get some sand for the milk jugs to light Santa's way to our street. After we filled a bucket with sand Ollie wanted to sled and play in the snow. He stayed out for about 45 minutes. It was hard to get him to come inside!

After playing in the snow we had a big breakfast at home. Maw Maw & Papa Stu came over and Aunt Erin, Uncle Kevin & Ivy. We hung out for awhile until it was time to head over to Papa's!!! Ivy got a Princess Tot Rod! She got her present first because it couldn't be wrapped and it needed the stickers to be put on. She really likes it! She was so happy just to sit on it and look at everything. Ollie really likes it too. You can push a button to make it go by itself - he was trying to teach her how to push the button!

Ollie gave Papa some cashews!

Daddy got a honker sweater! He has been wanting one for a long time!

Uncle Jack & Bill got lottery tickets but they didn't win anything - bummer!

Uncle Kevin & Aunt Erin got a new TV!! Yippee!

Ollie got new games for his DS and a game to play on Papa's Wii.
Grandma Pati got some snowman decorations!

Ivy helps Papa open some presents.
A deer hunting game for the Wii.
I got a new coat, new home phones and a picture of a new server that will be ready sometime next week from Ashley Furniture! It looks awesome I can't wait until it comes in!!! I'll post pics later! Here is Uncle Kevin & Ollie playing some new DS games. What a great Uncle!

Still snowing when we got home. It looks really pretty - very Christmasy!
I read Ollie two Christmas stories and then kissed him goodnight. He was sound asleep within 5 minutes. Thank goodness! Santa has lots of work to do!

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Christmas Week!

Wednesday evening Papa Stu & Maw Maw picked up Ollie. He loves it when they pick him up from school! Ollie got a stocking present. It was a little nerf gun. After dinner we went to the Celebration of Lights in O'Fallon. It was beautiful. Ollie fell asleep on the way home. While I was changing him he said "mommy can I just sleep for a little bit?" Of course! He slept all night long!

Ollie got mail!

Tonight when we got home from dinner there was a white box in front of our garage. It was for Ollie from Grandma & Grandpa Ames! Inside was Grandpa Ames' hard hat! Ollie loves this hard hat!

Bowling Party

Sunday afternoon Ollie was invited to Brittain's birthday party at the bowling alley. Thank goodness because Ollie was driving me crazy at home. He got to get out and act silly and play with his friends. When he got there Brittain said "I missed you buddy!" They just saw each other on Friday!

Three's trouble. Malik, Ollie & Brittain.

The music was very loud and the boys were dancing all over the place!

Ollie got a spare!

When the pin fell down Ollie & Malik were jumping up and down and jumped into a hug! It was too cute!
Hey guys that's where the bowling balls go!

Later that evening we were at Maw Maw's and were going to go to DQ to see a real life reindeer. We were almost there and Ollie was dead asleep. There was no waking him. We just turned around and went home. I put him in bed and changed his clothes and he slept all night. The party really wore him out.

Toussaint Family Christmas!

After cookie day wrapped up we headed out to Aunt Debbie's for the Toussaint Family Christmas. Ollie fell asleep in the car right away and took a little while to wake up but once he did he was back to his usual self.

Ollie could not wait to rip into these presents!

He got the Imaginext Dragon "Tower" as Ollie calls it. He kept asking around until he found someone to get it open for him.

Finally Uncle Lester & Uncle Brad helped him.

After the kiddos opened their presents we played a riveting game of Beg, Borrow, Steal!

Ollie played with his tower all evening long.
It was a good evening and it's a good thing we moved it up a week because Grandma & Grandpa Toussaint are going out of town before Christmas and won't be back until July. So far today has been a perfect start to the holidays - lots of family time!
