Ivy's Nursery

For those of you who were wanting to know what Ivy's nursery looks like....here it is! How cute and bright! I hope she will be able to sleep in there!

St. Patrick's Day Parade!

Well, it was not raining this morning but it was a little drizzly and windy but we headed to Cottleville for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. We parked at Aunt Erin's school and walked to find a place to sit but we got there very early and it was colder than we thought so Ollie and I walked back to the car to watch Scooby Doo 2 until it was time for the parade to start then we headed back and set up some chairs next to Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin. Ollie made sure to take his Bat Halloween bag with him to collect candy.

Here is a clown with a fake squirrel. Ollie got to pet it!

Ollie has go the parade thing down now. He knows when they throw candy that you have to hurry up and get it before the others!
We left the parade a little early because it was so cold. We went to McDonald's for lunch and Ollie got to play. When we came home he immediately took off his socks and went to lay on the heater (this is one of his favorite spots!) and he fell asleep. It's been a busy day already.

Seriously!

Ollie got his haircut last night but he would not hold still. It was almost over, the lady just had to clean up the back of his neck and he jerked his head and it the middle of it on the clippers so he has a little line across the back of his head! She told me I could bring him back another day when he will sit still and she would fix it but I think it will have to grow out a bit to be fixed. Oh well, he always looks cute from the front!

Another Beautiful Day

Today was a beautiful day! It was in the 60's and sunny for the most part. The clouds would roll in every once in awhile but then they would go away. We started out the day by getting to Church early so Ollie could play in their playground before Sunday School.

We stopped by the grocery store on the way home and then changed clothes and went outside. I picked up poop and Ollie rode his truck over to the park to play. After a few minutes two little girls came to the park they all three played together for the rest of the afternoon. They played in the sand together for a long time and then the girls left and we weren't sure if they were coming back so Ollie came in and I made him a corndog and then the girls showed back up with their scooters. So off went Ollie with his spider-man scooter and they went up and down the bike trail. I parked a chair in front of the back door and sat their with a magazine making sure I could see him at all times. At 3:00 Ollie decided he wanted to come in for awhile, so the girls headed home, the little one was not very happy so I told her she could come back and play another day.

In the meantime, Daddy came home from his fishing trip and after Ollie finally ate his lunch they went out and washed Ollie's truck. It was really dirty.

Then Daddy BBQ'd some pork steaks and Aunt Erin came over for dinner. Now, Ollie just got out the bath and into his jammies and is laying on his Batman couch watching Batman & Robin with Mr. Freeze & Poison Ivy and I'm sure he will be asleep within the next 1/2 hour and I can settle in and watch the Oscars!!! Perfect day!

Saturday

This morning we got up and went out for donuts with Aunt Erin. Then we came back to get ready to go to Papa's house. In the meantime, Ollie decided to try out the new pooper scooper. He got some grass, he said.

While at Papa's house I got the baby shower invitations done for Aunt Erin's shower and then Ollie went down to the garage to help out a bit. He was raking some sand through the grass then he told Bill that he should do it now because Ollie was tired.

During Ollie's nap I went to Wal-Mart and Party World to pick out a cake and balloons for the shower. Then when he woke up we went to Belk Park to play!

What a beautiful day! Finally the sun has come out and it is actually in the 50's! I've been waiting for this for awhile. Great day - got a lot of stuff done and got to play outside!
