Dinner at Papa's

On Monday we all went to Papa's for dinner. Ollie took Maw Maw and Papa Stu for a ride on the mule.

Uncle Larry & Aunt Barb came to check out Papa's new house. They won't be able to make it to the open house on Saturday.

We had dinner on their new dining room table and then dessert outside on the deck. They just got finished restaining the deck and it looks very nice.

Of course Chris mowed the grass - he always has to be doing something!

Then Ollie took Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin for a ride on the mule!

Tuesday evening was the last night Maw Maw and Papa Stu were in town. We went to eat at O'Charley's and then played at City Center park. When we got home Aunt Erin made us do Ollie's homework!

What's missing from this pic? Could it be Ollie? Usually he needs to be around to do his homework - he's still too little for homework in my opinion. We only do it when something sound interesting or fun! I guess I will have to get more strict on that in 2 years!

Pool Party!

On Sunday, Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin had a pool party! It started a bit slow but soon lots of people were in the pool. Ollie, Maggie & Samantha swam all day long!

Those kids have more energy!

Ollie's 1st Ballgame!!!

Saturday evening we went to the Cardinal's game. Erin and I got the tickets for my dad's birthday. On our way to Busch Stadium they still have the All Star game arches up so we had to stop for a quick pic.

They also still had the arch mowed into the field. It was pretty cool. This was my first time at the new stadium. Since we had to get so many seats together we were up really high. But you could still see pretty well and you could see the whole field!

It was a perfect game for Ollie's first game. By the time we got to our seats it was in the 2nd inning. Right after we got there Matt Holliday hit a homerun and the shot off the fireworks! Ollie really liked that!

Guess what? The Cardinals won!!! Matt Holliday hit another homerun so we got to see more fireworks and then they shot off even more when the game was over! It was a quick game it only lasted 2:15 from start to finish so Ollie did really well. Papa even bought him some dipping dots which kept him busy for a little while.

Thursday evening we went up to the elementary school so Ollie could ride his bike on a big flat surface with no cars driving around.

Then Ollie and Kathryn got to play on the "big kid" playground!

Saturday morning this is what I found when Ollie was calling me to "come see". Every drawer was open and Bella's leash was attached to a cabinet door and attached to the phone cord. What a stinker!

Then we went to Maw Maw's to see Papa Stu! Ollie showed him how he rides his bike and then helped prune the plants.

Aunt Erin was clipping Maw Maw's toenails. Ollie wanted to help but Maw Maw did not like that idea!

Playtime with Jay & Chris

Monday morning we went up to Gennie's house to play with Jay and Chris. Gennie got out the finger paints - what a good mom - I don't even have finger paints because of the mess they make!

Chris got to paint too! He wanted to eat the paint - yucky!!

Then we all went up to the mall. We played in the play area and then walked around. We found out that there is no height or weight limit for the bungee jumping on the trampoline so all the boys took a turn! Check out the video of Ollie below - he really went for it!

Chris even jumped really high!

Jay jumped for a bit but then got a little scared. Oh well, maybe next time.
