4th of July!!!

On Saturday before the 4th we had a big 4th of July party at Papa's house! Ollie & Ivy are ready to get going!

Ivy like ALL of the fireworks...she kept saying "Oooo that's my favorite!"

On Tuesday evening (7/3) we went to see the fireworks in O'Fallon, MO.  We found a field looking towards the TR Hughes ballpark.  When they finally started we could hear them but couldn't see them over the ball park.  We all turned around and they were right over top of us!  It was awesome!

Wednesday, the 4th of July!  Erin and I ran in the Firecracker 10K in O'fallon.  It was very hot.  It got up to 104 on the 4th.  After the race we found a place to watch the parade.  Maw Maw brought Ollie and Kevin brought Ivy.  The parade was very long and there were alot of politians.  They were not throwing candy, plus it was so hot!  After an hour and a half we went to McDonald's to cool off and order food and wait out the rest of the parade.  Afterwards we all headed to Erin's for a pool party!

On Friday the 6th, Maw Maw picked Ollie up early from daycare and took him to Nob Hill pool!  I stopped by on my way home and said hi but didn't stay long because it was too hot.  It has been over 100 degrees for more than 9 days by this time.  We are breaking records this year.

Saturday the 7th, it is still hot so we met Papa at the Mills movie theater to see the new Spiderman movie.  It was pretty good but long.  It was 2 1/2 hrs long!  Ollie had his own popcorn, soda and candy and had to go to the bathroom about 5 times during the movie!  Later Saturday evening we celebrated a birthday...can you guess who's???

Bella's!!! It was Bella's 4th birthday!  We got her a special birthday doggie cookie  and Ollie picked out an "ant" cake for the people to eat.  We ordered chinese for dinner and then we all sang happy birthday to Bella and Ollie got to give her the special cookie!

Happy Father's Day!!!

Ivy spent the night with us on Saturday night. Ollie & Ivy played in the sprinkler for a little while and then played outside with Andrew & Kathryn for a bit before bed.

Erin and I planned to run at 6am before the kids woke up so we planned for the pack n play to be in the play room so I would not wake Ivy up in the morning.  However, Ivy can now climb out of the pack n play and to my surprise met me in the hallway last night.  She did not want to sleep in the playroom so ended up in our bed.  Sometime later in the night Ollie came in too so we had 4 people in the bed.  Good thing we have a king sized bed!  Anyway, both kids were up before 6am so Kevin came over to pick up Ivy before we ran.  Great start to the day!    Later in the day we wen to Papa's house to celebrate Father's Day! Ivy & Ollie are helping Chris with his presents.  He got a dual water sprinkler timer and a set of Legos (can you guess who picked out the Legos???)

Kevin got a picture from Ivy in a frame that has her voice recorded saying Happy Father's Day!  I love you daddy!  Too cute!!!

John got a leaf blower and a card with Ivy's voice on it too!

There's no picture but Dad got 4 Filets and a new Weber Grill!
Tyler, Ollie & Ivy are checking out "Chris" new Lego set!
After presents we swam for a couple hours and then it was time to check out the new swing seat Papa put up!

This is Ollie about 2 min after we dropped Tyler off.  One second he was talking about his tv and the next second he was OUT!!!

Tyler's Junior Prom - May 12, 2012

Catching Up

Man, I have alot of catching up to do! Here are some pics from Ivy's "Show Week" at the Little Gym.

Maw Maw flew back to CA the Thursday after Memorial Day.  Before she left we picked up a new coconut for Maw Maw & Ollie to break open.  The one left over from Christmas was not good when it was opened.
They were able to drain the coconut milk into a cup.  Ollie didn't really like the way it tasted though!

Finally he got it all the way open!
I guess he is not a big fan of coconut either.  Oh well - it was fun to crack open!

We all got our nails done on Mother's day.  Can you guess who's toes are who's?
Last Saturday, Lori invited us to a parade and picnic in her neighborhood.  After the parade we walked to the St. Elizabeth's picnic from her house.  Poor Samantha got to pull the wagon.  Do you think they could have fit anymore kids in there?
Ollie and Ivy had a good time in the fun houses and then they rode a lot of rides together!  It was a perfect picnic for younger kids!

On to this weekend...we picked up Tyler yesterday and went to Papa's house to swim.  Ollie was so excited to swim with his brother.  He only wants to do whatever Tyler wants to do.

After we got home Ollie played with Kathryn all evening at the park and in the backyard.  He was filthy when he came inside.  After his bath, he talked Tyler into playing his Star Wars Kinect game with him!
