Baby Shower & Anniversary Party

Saturday I went to a baby shower for my friend, April. She is having a baby boy and her due date is Aug 4th. It was a very nice shower. It was earlier in the day than other showers which worked out well because Aunt Barb & Uncle Larry had a pool party and a 30th Anniversary Party for Aunt Patti & Uncle Bill! I left the shower and met everyone at the pool party.

Vivy & Ollie wanted Jello shots too - Aunt Barb had some jello "shots" just for them. They had fruit in the middle of them.

Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin had a grad party to go to that night so I took Ollie & Ivy home with me. Ivy was getting cranky before we left but fell asleep in the car and didn't wake up for the rest of the night. I pretty much had to wake her up to get her to eat around 8:45. They picked her up at 11pm and she was still sleeping. I hope she slept as well for them!

Pirate Center

Today Maw Maw and Papa Stu picked Ollie up from school around 10:30 and they took a trip to the "pirate center" or the Science Center to the Pirate Exhibit. It sounds like Ollie had a great time!

This evening we went out to dinner at the Olive Garden and Ollie was still in pirate mode. He got a little pirate gun that pops out a cork attached to a string and he thinks it is the best. He was telling me about a 9 year old pirate named John King and another pirate that was named Oliver! Sounds like he had a great time today!

Ollie was so tired after his fun filled day that he fell asleep in the car on the way home from the restaurant. When we got home I took him upstairs pirate gun in hand which he dropped in the hallway and put him in bed. While I was changing him into jammies he woke up and said "where is my gun?" So I got it out of the hallway and showed it to him then he said "Mommy, I am just going to sleep for a little bit." And that was it, he was out!

Pool Party at Aunt Erin's

Saturday Aunt Erin had a pool party at her house. It was thrown together at the last minute but alot of people were able to come. Papa & Grandma Pati brought Megan & Mason and Lori brought Samantha & Maggie. Ollie was very excited to have friends to play with!

After a long day of swimming we just hung around the house on Sunday. We took a trip down to the park and Tyler came with us!

Ollie got a present from Maw Maw & Papa Stu. It was a 4th of July outfit and a bag for the Olde Tyme Picnic parade! Very cute!

Sunday evening everyone came over for hamburgers and brats. Ollie got to hold baby Ivy. He thought her bink link should be attached to his shirt instead of hers. Not the best idea because that means the binky get pulled out of her mouth too much!

Park Time

Wednesday evening Ollie and I went to the park. He likes to dip sticks in the mud and he calls it blood. Here he is showing me some "blood".

Ollie is a little monkey. He starts from the very bottom of the pole and climbs all the way to the top and then slides back down.


Thursday evening we went to the concert in the park. It was a good band. They played rock/soft rock. Probably one of the best concert in the parks that I have been to.

Ollie and Papa Stu are going for a little walk past the band and over a bridge.

Friday evening we swam in Aunt Erin's pool and ate pizza then headed to the park with the blue house (port-a-potty). Except now it is the park with the green house. It is in Cottleville and probably one of Ollie's favorites but it is not very close to our house. He loves climbing on everything there though!

Ollie is being batman in Gotham City. Maw maw is being the joker!

On Monday, Ollie brought his tool bench all the way downstairs and played for quite awhile. He even had his work goggles on. I don't know what got into him to bring it downstairs though!

Later we had lunch at Maw Maw's house. Ollie found some old sand from Aunt Erin's wedding and played with that for quite awhile on the back deck. He wanted to mix the colors all up but Maw Maw would only let him mix a little bit in case he wanted to play with it again.

Tuesday evening we went to Maw maw's for dinner and Ollie got to swim in the pool before dinner. He found his batman flippers and goggles! Is he Batman or Spiderman?

Tonight Ollie rode his bike to the park while I ran next to him. He played for a long time and then he had to ride all the way home again. We were both pretty hot and tired by the time we got home. Of course we always have to stop on the way back to find a stick to bring home for Bella.
