Spring Forward

Today was a beautiful day! It was a little windy, but it was still warm and sunny for most of the day. It did rain pretty hard earlier this morning but by 11:00 it was sunny and beautiful. That is when we met Aunt Erin and Uncle Kevin at City Centre Park. Then Ollie and I took a quick trip to Shop N Save to pick up some lunch meat, potato salad, chips, soda & cherry pie. Then everyone came back to our house for lunch; Daddy was even home from his fishing trip when we got home!
Later, Ollie wanted to help Daddy fix the boat but after a few minutes we were just in his way.

So off to the back yard to practice playing soccer!

Of course we had to ride the truck some too!

Not sure what brought this on but he is a little climber so I guess it should be expected.

Then Ollie rode his big wheel down our street to the court while Mommy ran along next to him to make sure he did not hit any parked cars or flip over the curb. He was going pretty fast and thought it was so much fun! The whole time I was just thinking about my Dad. He hated when Erin and I rode our big wheels down the street - he always thought we were going to get hit by a car or something terrible. Now I know how he felt!

Next we had to take a wagon ride.
Since we had to change the time today and Ollie slept in this morning I've been trying to keep him up all day so he will go to bed at a decent time tonight. Trying to get him used to the new time. We'll see if it works or not. It's about 6:15 and he is watching Scooby Doo and jumping on the couch so it does not seem like it is bothering him too much to have missed his nap.

Fun with Papa!

Yesterday, Ollie spent the whole day with Papa. I had to take a test for work so I dropped Ollie off in the morning and did not make it back until after 4:00. This is what I saw when I got back. Ollie was wiped out! He worked really hard with Papa. They had lots of mowing to do and Papa's new house and lots of work to do in Papa's new gigantic gargage/workshop. Ollie fell asleep in a chair w/Papa and then he put him on the cot in the back of his garage. Poor little guy, Mommy only let him sleep about 45 more minutes after she got back. He was still up until 10:00 last night. Oh well, at least he had fun!

Papa & Maw Maw Toussaint!

Last night Papa & MawMaw Toussaint stopped by for a visit before they have to head out of town again. Ollie was so excited to see them and he was "showing off" for them. He had to drag lots of things out of his playroom including a bunch of old baby bibs. Then he decided to put them all on at once. He did this all by himself!

He wanted Papa to read a book to him.

Later his crazy green ball popped and Daddy had the great idea to put it on his head like a hat. Ollie thought this was pretty funny!

It is still really stretchy!
By the way, Ollie has been wearing big boy underwear since Saturday. Yesterday he had 2 accidents at school but today he came home in the same clothes he went in! Good job buddy!!!

Brotherly Love

Yesterday while I was making lunch, Ollie and Tyler were shooting each other with the nerf dart guns. They were having a blast!
Soccer Note: Tonight Ollie did really well in soccer class. We had a sub coach and he was really good. Ollie still has to work on listening and doing exactly what he is supposed to but I'd say that this class was about 60% better than the last one. Thank goodness!

Ice Skating!

Yesterday we went to the Rec-Plex to try out ice skating for the first time!
Aunt Erin was really good at helping Ollie. She is a much better ice skater than I am. Ollie did not fall down once. Although I did take him around one whole time by myself!

Ollie is really good at walking on the ice skates. They did not stop him from playing with the lockers while we took a little break.

Anther couple times around. He is getting better!

Allison came with us too. This was only her second time ice skating and she is really good! She was already practicing turns and skating backwards! Holy Cow!
