January Birthdays!

Tonight we went to Teresa and Lester's to celebrate the January birthdays. Happy birthday to Krista, Tyler, Mike & Lester! Lester is 40! He doesn't look it!

The cupcakes were wonderful!

Here is Krista - the birthday girl!

Time for presents!

We took lots of family pics and this is one of the better one's. Apparently it is hard to get all of us to look at the camera and keep our eyes open!

Diego Balloon

Last night I took Ollie over to Maw Maw's so I could do some shopping for the January Birthday's weekend. Tonight we are celebrating, Tyler & Crista's birthdays and tomorrow evening we are celebrating Aunt Erin's birthday. Well, Ollie was not in a good mood on the way over there. He was screaming the whole ride to Maw Maw's house that he wanted to talk to Maw Maw, then when we got there he changed his mind to "I want my daddy!" Of course the person who was not there. I finally got him to calm down and snuck out the front door without him noticing but found out later that he figured it out and continued his fit for another 25 min! Yikes! Anyway, while I was out I saw a Diego balloon and thought that would make him happy when I got back. Well it worked he was fresh out of a bath and had so much fun with the balloon. He said "it's my birthday!" over and over. He associates balloons with birthday parties. There is short video below of Ollie playing with his balloon.

This morning after swimming class we went to Denny's and here is a pic of Ollie sitting in the window. They thought that a corner booth with a big window seel would be good for us, I bet they figured out that they would never sit little kids in that booth again!

Duck Hat

On Sunday Daddy left his "hunting" hat at home while he was out. Ollie saw it and needed to find his "duck hat", which is just a camoflage baseball hat. Then he picked up his gun and stuffed duck and held it up like daddy holds up his geese. It was pretty cute.

Sunday

Today we woke up and went to Sunday school. Literally, Ollie slept until 8:20 and we had to leave the house by 8:45 if we wanted to have time to have a donut before class. Afterwards we came home, had lunch and then it was time for Ollie to take a nap so that Mommy could read her book. I am almost through with the second book, there are two more to go and they get longer each time. The first one is 500 pages. I guess that lets you know why I haven't been posting very much! After Ollie's nap he watched a few cartoons while I kept on reading.
Later Maw Maw came over and we went to Target for a few things. Ollie found something he just had to have and of course Maw Maw does not have the strength to say no to him. That's what Maw Maw's are for, right?!? Then we went to Borders and Barnes & Noble. As I said I am almost finished with the second book and the library was already closed and would not be open on MLK's birthday so I had to get the third book. Heaven forbid I finish it and cannot read more about Edward and Bella for a few days!

Then we were off to McDonald's for dinner and playtime. Ollie had a great time running around. He also likes to play with the video games they have there. He does not really play but he hoots and hollers like he is really playing. It is pretty funny to listen to.

Then back to Ollie's house to play with his new Thomas the Train!!

You pump it up and it drives across the floor! Fun times. When Ollie goes to bed I can finish my book!

Silly Willy!

Yesterday we went to Papa's house for a little while. Ollie loves to play with Papa's Santa trash can. Well this time he tried to sit in it and got stuck! He was scared and started crying. Poor little buddy.

Papa called Ollie a "Silly Willy" we Ollie does not like that and says "no you Silly Will, I Ollie Toussaint"! He is so funny! Of course he says it over and over again.
