Fright Fest!

Last night after I got home from Jeff City I decided to take Ollie to Fright Fest & Six Flags with Erin and her friend Lori. Erin took her "little sister" Allison with her and Lori's daughters went too. This was my chance to take Ollie to Six Flags and not have to worry about keeping anyone else from getting to ride what they want because he is too small. First we went to McDonald's for dinner and everyone was very into the Monopoly game!
All the kids had to take turns laying in a pretend casket!
Ollie had to lay in it too. Of course, he had no idea why!
We got to ride the Scooby Doo ride! Ollie was upset that he could not get the door open on the pretend "Doo Doo Truck"!
There are lots of rides for little people in Bugs Bunny land! Carousel....
Airplanes! Trains...Boats...all kinds of fun rides!
Last but not least we went on the giant ferris wheel that was decorated like a pumpkin!

We all had lots of fun, but it was a late night We did not get home until after midnight! Yikes!

Ollie goes to Jeff City!!!

On Wednesday afternoon Aunt Erin & Uncle Kevin drove Ollie up to Jeff City to see me! I met them over at the capital after my class was out. We went out to dinner and then back to the hotel. Ollie rode his bike in the parking lot and then we went in to take a bath. They left for home around 7:45. It was a short visit but it helped me get through the week! Finally I am home and do not have any trips away from my Ollie planned in the near future!

Bye Bye Mommy 2 :(

Well it's time again for me to go out of town for my last training session. I have to leave tomorrow morning and I will not be back until Friday again. At least I know this will be the last time, but it is still hard. Below is a video of Ollie saying bye bye to me.

Yesterday we went to Erin's house for Chili Dogs and she has this huge Frankenstein sitting on her front porch. I thought Ollie would be scared but he wanted to sit on his lap and he wanted me to take his pic!

Massive Garage Sale!

This morning I got up at 5:45 loaded up the car put Ollie in in carseat and went to pick up my mom by 6:15. Then we dropped Ollie off at my dad's house and headed to Shiloh, IL for a huge subdivision garage sale. I look forward to this sale every year. You cannot even drive your car in there are way too many people. They have 4 porta potties and several police directing traffic. There are also several homes that sell food. You can't really tell by the pic but this yellow bus with smiley faces on it pulls a trailer that sells brats, chicken k-bobs sodas, sno-cones, etc.
The streets are lined with cars and people walking from house to house. I was a little bummed today because there is one house that sells wooden lawn decorations and she must have not made as many as last year because I was looking forward to going back to buy a big turkey to put in my yard for Thanksgiving but she did not have any turkey's this year...bummer! I guess I will have to wait until next year to see if she makes anymore. We did pretty well but have done better in the past. Not as many house participated this year so there was more walking between them, still there were at least 100 houses, so I cannot really complain. I will still go next year!
Meanwhile, Ollie was busy helping Papa mow some lawns and then he thought it was fun to his the tennis balls hanging in their garage with a bat!

Thanks for watching Ollie Papa, Grandma Pati & Great-Papa!!

Jumping in Circles!

I don't know what got into Ollie last night but he got awfully excited all of a sudden and started jumping around the living room. He was jumping in circles he said! This is when he was winding down a bit so just imagine how it was only a minute earlier! I was too slow with the camera.

On another note, I got off at 3:30 today so Ollie and I went to the big park! He drove his truck and I followed on my bike. All fine and dandy until the little part when we had to go on the sidewalk next to the road. On the way back he decided to shift into reverse in the middle of the road and then he put it in neutral by mistake so I had to drag him on the truck while I was on my bike to the other side of the road. Bad Idea Mommy!!
