Wednesday!

Tonight, Aunt Erin picked Ollie up from the babysitter. She also picked up Maggie and Samantha! What a great babysitter! She fed Ollie so that I could grab him and run out the door for stroller class! After stroller class Aunt Erin, Maggie and Samantha were all playing at Laurel Park so we stopped and played with them.
Then we came home and all the kids took a bath together! What a great time they had.
Then they all had pop tarts.
Maggie had nothing to wear so she wore Ollie's scooby doo pajama bottoms but refused to wear the top so she got a tye-dye shirt. Then Ollie had to wear the scooby doo top. They look hilarious in their little matching jammies!

Here is a pic of Ollie playing in the silverware drawer - we just cannot keep him out of there anymore!

Pool Party!!!

Today we went to Aunt Barb's & Uncle Larry's for a Pool Party!! Ollie was super excited!
They had baby sodies for Ollie to drink!!
Ollie thought it was pretty neat that he got his own can of sodie!
Ollie just dumped a cup of water over cousin Jill's head! That was pretty funny!

You can't have a pool party without a game of Keep Away!
Ollie stayed busy in their sand box!

He also helped push Vivy on the swing!

Here is Ollie swimming with his cousin Bel! She liked to take him around in the pool.

Happy B-Day Uncle Jack!

Today we went to Papa's house for Uncle Jack's b-day and for the 4th! Ollie, of course, has to go on the ride ride! He went 3 times today, I think!
Uncle Mark is also here from Texas and he bought a bunch of scratcher lottery tickets and we all played. Then we took whatever winnings we had to Farm Fresh and got some more!
The lottery tickets lasted all afternoon!
Time for presents! Ollie has to help open them!
More lottery tickets! Unfortunately, no one won the 50,000 a year for life - oh well maybe next time!
Ollie is having a great time - he is always the center of attention!

This is a new game... two stakes in the yard each has a beer bottle on it. Then you throw a frisbee while holding a drink in your hand and try to hit the other beer bottle off. The other people have to catch the frisbee the the beer bottle all while holding onto their own drinks!
It is harder than you think!

Here is a video of Ollie playing with some poppers! He likes to stomp on them!

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th everyone!! Today our pool party got cancelled because it was supposed to rain so we stayed home all day! First, Ollie, Aunt Erin, Kevin & I went for a walk down to the park. Ollie ran almost the whole way! Then he had a great time hanging!
Later, during Ollie's nap Chris discovered that our sewer was backing up into our basement - gross! So he spent the day fixing and cleaning that up! Thank goodness he knows what to do and thank goodness he cleaned it up because that is definitely not something I wanted to do!
When Ollie woke up and while Chris was still working on our plumbing problem Ollie and I went in the backyard and set off some smoke bombs! Ollie thought that was pretty fun!
Finally, Chris was done cleaning up poop and decided it was time to wash the cars! Ollie wanted to help too!

But, just cleaning the cars was not enough for Ollie; he thought the trash can was pretty dirty too!
Later in the evening we went out back and set off a few fireworks that Grandma Cherry bought for Ollie. He liked the tanks the best - he is pretty scared of the little fountains and sparklers and the loud whistlers but he really likes the big ones in the sky that go "BOOM"! Maybe next year he will like the sparklers and other little ones too. It turned out to be a pretty fun day - after the poop fiasco that is!

Thursday!

Finally, the last day of work before a 3 day weekend! Yippee!! This morning Ollie was helping daddy make bacon for Mommy to take to work. He thought he was pretty cool with both oven mitts on his arms!
This evening Ollie was at the pantry begging for his 3rd donut just an hour before bedtime and Mommy told him no it was time to take a bath or shower. He would not come out of the kitchen and when I went in to see what he was doing I saw him laying on the floor with his head down (nose to the tile). I guess this was his idea of throwing a fit! At least it was silent! Well, he did not know I was in the kitchen so he started to scoot across the floor towards the living room in hopes that someone would see him throwing his fit!
Ollie actually wanted to take a bath tonight - I was surprised! He has not taken a bath in a few weeks. I thought I was going to have to take showers with him for the rest of his life!
He must have missed all of his bath toys because he took every single one of them out of the basket!

Notice how the tub is full of toys now! He had such a good time he stayed in for over 30 minutes!
